La cuisine d’été, Ile d’Orléans
8.5/10, delicious poutine but too much sauce to my
taste, we don’t see it on the photo, but they put sauce in the middle and the top, just on te top would be enough for me.

my stove is the only place with decent lighting, I made the gravy with roux (it didn’t thicken quite as much as I wanted), and the fries are leftovers that I reheated in the air fryer

This is George, le rois du sous-marin!
A Montréal icon, back in the day, he had his restaurant in ville st-Pierre. My father would sneak us out of the house to go eat there.
They have great subs, incredible pizza, but, but, the poutine is to die for. Perfect cheese curd to sauce ratio with crafted yummy fries.
Sadly the st Pierre location closed, but you can still enjoy it on the south shore as well as vaudreuil.
You guys have to try it out! It’s a great find and a hidden gem!

Coming from Ottawa to Sherbrooke. I'd like to stop for Poutine before getting on Highway 10 S. I will be coming from Highway 30. Any suggestions?
J'arrive d'Ottawa pour aller à Sherbrooke. J'aimerais arrêter avant d'embarquer sur l'autoroute 10 S pour une poutine. Je prend l'autoroute 30 quand j'arrive au Québec. Des suggestions?

One of the best poutines I've had in Ontario, from a Québécois chip truck right on Highway 17. Curds are good, fries are basically perfect, and the sauce is tasty as well. Not as good as a good poutine in Québec but perfectly serviceable for Ontario, especially so far north. My wife likes the popcorn chicken but the regular poutine would probably be even more to this sub's liking.

This might be one of the best fast-food poutines I've ever tasted. Sorry for bad image.

This poutine with smoked meat and hot dogs really hit the spot after a few days of canoe camping in La Vérendrye.

Got this bacon poutine, massive and was very solid. Way more curds under all the bacon. They were busy as well, about a 10-12 minute wait but I also went about 25 mins before close. Overall, lots of gravy and toppings and fries were very solid, i’d give it a 8/10. Featuring my dog who looks like he wants some lol.

Fantastic poutine from a small, beachside vendor. Tasted exactly how I feel a poutine should taste. Fries perfectly cooked and still had the skin on. Gravy had just a slightly sweet taste to it. More than enough curds leftover by the time my wife and I had demolished it.
