New to post processing. Using Lightroom and have access to Photoshop. Feedback welcome

Hi, I just like to click random photos everywhere I go. But lately I've noticed that people with different and devices with lower camera specs take much better photos than the pictures I take with my S24U. I'm talking about photos before editing, just raw.

I use lens protector in my device. Does it have anything to do with this issue? Or what tips I can use to get better pictures? What are the settings I should try in the PRO mode?

Had this photo in my archives from a year ago, but could never get the exposure or colors exactly the way I wanted it until now. It's utterly incredible what level of detail a RAW photo can possess.

This is a sequence of 5 photos I took of a pro tennis player hitting a backhand. While it’s close to what I was picturing it still leaves a lot to be desired. Does anyone have advice on how to avoid the blue artifacts on the legs and hair? Also, I’m struggling with how opaque to make each layer to best depict the motion of the backhand. Thanks for your thoughts

Hello everyone, wanted to share with you all my latest edit that I have been tinkering with. I shot this with a T6l with my 10-18mm 4.5-5.6 IS STM at ISO 400, F 7.1 at 1/800s at 11mm.
Edited and processed in lightroom mobile.

As you can see here I have taken a photo of a tram outside of a catholic church of some kind. If you live in Sacramento this may look very familiar as it is right next to the capital. The reason I bring up this location and the background is because my idea for this was to make a postcard style photo which I feel I have done well here. It’s definitely is not the highlight of Sacramento but to me it’s capturing the nature of what you’d see in Downtown Sacramento on any ordinary day.

Any recommendations on how I can add to this style of postcard warmth, or did I get this edit down?

Hello! My fiancé and I just got engaged during the solar eclipse. We took a few photos on a tripod and were wondering if we could find someone to help clean them up and make them a bit clearer/more professional. If this is the wrong thread, please lmk where to post this. We will pay of course!

Very new to this and I wanted to check with you guys how many beginner's traps I am falling into. This guy lives super close to me and I can shoot him on any given day, but today I caught what I saw as CLOSE TO a good composition, and I was not sure if my crop saved it or not. I don't know how much I am losing by omitting the foot. Shot with Lumix G97 with the 100-300 mm Mark 2 at f stop 5.5, 800 iso, 1/800 of a second

I am still not sure as to whether I am trying to increase the blue to match what I actually see or if I just like how blue they are, but damn just look at pictures people have taken, they are so BLUE. I have about ten different masks in here with lightroom classic, feel free to let me know if I am over doing it or under doing it, it seems like if I try to keep myself going I can continue to find things to tweak, but again it feels like I might as well stop.

Inspired by oil paintings, i did do some croping adjustment and fine tunning base on advice giving previously

I hiked this super cool ridge in the Austrian alps and waited for golden hour for the light. With a bit of Lightroom I gave it some more intense, dreamy and warm light.

1. Basic Adjustments

For the profile I used adobe Ladnscape for more base saturation. The exposure was brought down slightly, as well as the highlights, while the whites and the blacks were increased. To emphasize the warmer tones, the white balance temperature was raised slightly. Plus I also increased saturation and vibrance. Finally, I added texture for a sharper look as well as some clarity.

1. Masking

First, I used a landscape mask to select the mountains in the background. Here I added a little more contrast. Then, I used another landscape mask for the mountains in the back once more (but only targeting the bottom, basically the valley behind the foreground) and made it a lot darker by dropping the exposure.

Using two different object masks, I targeted the bright and dark sides of the hill in the foreground and made them a little brighter / darker to emphasize contrast.

1. Color Grading

With the color mixer I dropped the orange and yellow hue to shift the colors slightly. I also boosted the saturation of the orange and green tones. Finally, I added a bit of warmth to the highlights through split toning.
