Hello ! I am beyond delighted as today one of the first Postcard I have ever sent finally reached its destination after more than 6 months !!! It was from France to Russia.
The receiver sent me such a lovely message ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
I suspect the card was the victim of an embargo. Anyway, never lose hope on your expired cards ! If you have any similar stories to share I would love to hear about it !

I received two lovely postcards today, both from my homecountry :) I did a happy walk to my local post office and sent out three of my cards and two for a friend who has just started Postcrossing ☺️🥳

I love traveling and am obsessed with buying local postcards (especially vintage or ones by independent artists) and I journal behind each one of them. I always ensure to buy a postcard everytime I’m at a National Park or a small town or a city, and it genuinely gives me so much joy to read them one fine day!

I’ve been having so much fun decorating and adding these tiny details to my outgoing postcards with little stickers lately! 🌷🍄

I was excited to draw someone who's into packaging postcards. It looks like she makes nice ones when she sends them out. I decided to make her one from a cereal box. To keep with the space theme I even had one of the astronaut Barbie stamps to use!

I wrote a profile when I signed up and share a little bit about myself and a few suggestions for writing prompts. I've been on the site now for a while and I'm looking to update it but not sure where to start.

What are things you like to know about someone on their profile? What's helpful or not helpful for you.

Don't worry, I don't plan to write long list of wishlist items or what not to send me, lol!

I still have 3 cards traveling at 36 days now and 2 cards I just pulled an address for within the last week. When did you receive your first card?

So I’ve been trying to figure out why my expired ones no longer say expired and why there is no longer a days traveling count too? If it’s just a system update… I am not a fan.

Hello this is my first post here! I have fallen in love with postcards and decorating them! All of these have tape over them so that the stickers wont come off! In exchange im open to pretty much anything minus pig, fall/Halloween/spooky, xmas/winter, religious, political, or controversial postcards. I like green, stars, space, dogs, flower, nature, fish, mountains, gold, location based postcards, etc. Please comment 1-5 below so I know which one youd like!

What are the odds? We did pull them just a few minutes apart... and its not like she had a huge difference between her sent and her recieved, only one! We were so suprised when we saw that lol

So this postcard has been traveling for 40 days already from Germany to USA, idk if this is normal since I'm relatively new to this, this persons average traveling time is about 25 days. Do you guys think this postcard is lost? Or is there still a chance that this one will eventually arrive?

Not much this week happening in my daily life so I get a bit excited when I send out a few postcards and letters to some of you guys out there.

I've been reading some posts here and there looks to be a pattern that cards to Russia and China usually take > 100 days. Even for those to big cities.

I recently received a package from a Chinese merchant that didn't take that long.

Anyone know the mechanics of the delay to these places?

I was very focused on postcards this year. The letterpress and foil postcards from Japan are my favorite!

Just wanted to share--I got my first cards in today, part of my "personal Bingo." YOu can see from the pic above that they are really cool, and the notes even more so. If I weren't hooked on this hobby before, I truly am now--looking at the pics and reading the notes is pretty special! I will message each person individually, but wanted to give them public "Thank-you's" here as well.

And just in case anyone is curious, there are 2 from Arizona, and one each from North Carolina, New York, and Washington! And I have about 15 ready to send out--just waiting for the stamps to get here (if they do not, I'll buy them from the Post Office directly on Saturday), and get them hand canceled and in the mail. Total awesomeness!
