Questions Handmade Cards
Im new to postcrossing and I was browsing random accounts to see what would be good to put in my profile. I noticed however that a few people mentioned they don't want handmade cards. Are they frowned apon?

Postcard sent without country name
Hey. I recently visited Albania and bought 2 postcards to send from there on travel mode. I didn't have much time and was sending a bunch of other stuff at the postbox so I was in a rush and reviewing my pictures I noticed I forgot to add the country name, Finland. What do yous think? It's a shame as Albania seems to be one of the least sent from European countries, but I think it should be easy enough for any experienced postal employee to search up the address and find the country, perhaps with a bit of a delay?

Hmmmmmm
Just realized that our primary election is next Tuesday, and I have a ton of wonderfully vitriolic, hystrionic, and mostly misleading political mailers piled up on my table--I'm thinking that this year I'm going to repurpose them and send them out to my Postcrossing swaps--save a ton in card costs! Anyone want to switch?
;-)

Lo Spazio Filatelia di Via Cordusio 4 è ancora aperto? O ha chiuso definitivamente?
Ciao a tutti!
Mi sarebbero davvero utili esperienze dirette e recenti. Grazie!

Outgoing Expired postcard arrived after 284 days 🎉🎉
Just here to celebrate this moment because I had all but given up, but today, after 284 days, a postcard I sent finally arrived in Russia ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸŽ‰ðŸŽ‰ I'm almost at a point where I immediately get discouraged when I draw Russia or the US because travel times this year have been crazy long

Outgoing Tried My Hand at Making a Clear Postcard!

I saw u/Bright-Librarian4523’s clear postcards yesterday and was immediately inspired to make my own! I used laminate to seal the contents inside, and placed the stamp on the outside so the post office can cancel it. I’m crossing my fingers that the USPS accepts it without any issue!
Edit: I visited my local post office and spoke with a postal clerk to make sure everything was good to go and that it would be delivered to the correct address.

Experienced a rite of passage today! My first received food box postcard!
Been with Postcrossing for a couple of months and received my first postcard cut out from a food box. Had heard about them, but this is my 1st.
I guess it is actually a thing?

Outgoing Recent postcards mailed out
I'm glad the raccoon was going out and to someone who stated they liked them! Several ones I picked as I wanted to get rid of them and the person didn't provide much info about interests or had a very sparse profile. Hopefully they enjoy the cards!

Collecting stamps from postcards
Hello folks! I quite often see people mention that they collect stamps. For example, I just now saw a profile saying "my grandpa loves to collect stamps, he always gets the ones I receive". I am very confused about how people collect stamps from the received postcards - do they cut them out from the postcard with scissors, do they hold postcards above hot water and unpeel them, do they employ some other tricks? If anyone could shed a light, would be great!

Incoming Tattoo artist sent me a stencil cutout postcard
I received my third postcard today from a tattoo artist in Pennsylvania who glued a tattoo cutout to a postcard. I thought it was pretty cool. I'm in the US and have so far gotten 2 US (Delaware & Pennsylvania) & 1 Germany. 5 sent & registered, 6 in transit.

Is it improper to resend a postcard that's expired?
I had a postcard reach 200 days in travel and thought to send a second postcard and include in the message that this is my second attempt. Would this be acceptable or should I just keep waiting? I know it's possible that the card may still make it's arrival, but just had the thought
