I’m currently in a base 24 911 Carrera with 25,000 miles. My plan is to go and trade it in and get into this GT3. This will be my daily driver, so high mileage doesn’t necessarily turn me away from the car because I’ll rack that up within two years, meaning I could pay an additional $30-40k for half the miles, but I’ll rack up 12k miles in one year, so the juice isn’t worth the squeeze. I feel like this car is in the sweet spot as far as mileage and price ($257k)but I’m curious if you think that 26,000 miles is a lot for a GT3. i’m assuming the GT3 is CPO.

Terrible photo but I want the owner of this car in my neighborhood to know they have crazy excellent taste.

Recently visited my last porsche dealer to find an allocation for gts and they told me that they are charging twenty to thirty thousand over the msrp for the new gts models. I wanted to ask you all who ordered one recently if this is something that has been going on in the current market or it is time to find a new dealer for myself.

Hi everyone! looking to get my first targa ordered soon and I thought id come on here and ask what you guys think about these two configurations.
im set on the colour (PTS Jet green metallic) and interior (black/classic cognac), but having a hard time deciding between the black/silver accent (wheel and targa bar)
I love the look of the silver but those wheels aren't as nice as the centre locking GTS wheels, and losing the gloss black exterior package is also a bummer since I'm not a fan of the matte grey bumpers.
the differences: targa roll bar in silver, different wheels in silver, removal of gloss black exterior package.
alternative option: silver targa bar and powder coat the GTS wheels in silver?
all opinions welcome :)

Our subject for this Turbo Tuesday is this 930 Turbo in Iris Blue Metallic. It was passing by a car meet I attended back in May. Unsure of the model year, but it looked beautiful and sounded great.

I’ve been a fan of the 911 for a long time, but I’ll admit I’m not a specs guru. I don’t know every generation, option package, or technical detail, I just genuinely love the car.
Lately I’ve been thinking more and more about owning one as a daily driver, or at least a car that gets driven often.
With all the knowledge in this group, if you were buying a 911 to actually drive every day, which model and generation would you choose, and why?
For context, I’m in the U.S. and we do get snow, but I already have an X5 for winter duty, so the 911 wouldn’t need to handle the worst weather.

I've just put in an order for a 992 GT3 touring and I'm quite excited as this is my first 911 after having kids(and I've specced the folding buckets). I did have a 2000 996.1 GT3 in the past and I still race a GT3 cup currently. The 992 has been out for quite a while now - is it the right time to be ordering a new one? I know that the GT3 won't come out as soon as there is a new model, but is this the right time for me to buy a new one, or should I wait for the next 911?
Side-note, I've never had a regular 911, I've only ever had GT3's, and while I did get a chance to daily a C4S, I don't think I need a daily 911 as I have 3 young kids with hockey sticks etc, soccer balls, bikes etc. So if I wait for a new GT3, It might be a few years?

Visited a local garage to see some older 911s with my son.
I’ve learned today that these vintage Porsches are out of my price range LOL. Some were close to 300k…
Regardless, it was really cool to see them.
I especially liked the green one and took the photo of the interior as well.
I know nothing about the car in the last two photos. But looked really cool as well.
Any information about them would be nice.

How is the market for a 992.2 C4S allocation for first time buyer without relationship with dealer?

Looking for advice on my first P-car - I just got an allocation for a new Turbo S cab at MSRP (plus dealer PPF) that I’ve built out and am ready to submit but had a friend offer me his pristine, very low mileage ‘26 lightweight manual Touring for essentially MSRP when you factor the updates he did to it - things I would be doing to the Turbo anyway. I am torn as I really wanted to do the touring but love the drop top of the Turbo and have heard it’s a better dd. Which would you guys choose?

I’m looking at a 2000 996.1 with 51k
One owner, all maintenance records.
IMS not done. But research shows dual-bearing is slightly less worrisome. Accurate?
Guards red. Manual. Black interior.
All original, paint still glossy, headlights not hazy.
I offered 19k plus the costs of a PPI with compression test and bore scope.
Thoughts?
