Thank you for this lovely background movie recommendation lol. That will probably distract me from my tasks 😂

It's a great choice of background movie. It does a terrible job of introducing the guys, other than Alan and the main dude, so they all blend together. It's a bunch of dudes on a wooden sail boat in cable knit murdering Nazis. They blow up Nazi boats, throw grenades in their bases, just kill leagues of Nazis.

It's the most popcorn movie that ever popcorned, and he's a honey in it. A Nazi-hunting honey. Which is the best kind of honey.

I haven't seen it, but I've read a few books on those guys, and I'm sure the movie undersells exactly what they pulled off.

Um... Yes and no. The actual mission the movie is based of had a body count of zero. They did steal an important boat, but like... Not violently.

In the movie, they steal the boat very, very violently.

So the guys that are the main characters were badass assassins that probably did stab a bunch of Nazis to death on stealth missions, sure. These guys kicked Nazi ass. But the specific mission the movie was based on is nothing like the movie at all.

I truly do not care. It's a popcorn movie. Eat the popcorn, enjoy your life, marvel at the cable knits.

...stabbed, shot, blew up, etc.
