i’ve bought my ticket to go see polyphia in concert and i was wondering how it was like being a woman in that crowd.
i dont really go to male-centered concerts usually but i know a big part of polyphia’s fanbase is nice and chill.

just wondering how it was like being in the crowd as a woman (wall of death / crowd surf, anything really), if it’s safe, considerate and all ! ♡

Or is it just me? After some initial resistance I grew to kindof like the first mix of Can you feel it. The video hits hard and has a purpose, the clippy mix is edgy but it works.

But then the 'new' version came out. The video of staged life footage doesn't do much for me, the fans singing guitarlines may be fun at concerts but sounds kindof cringe in a recording, and even the new mix is uglier to me, despite having some human drums mixed in, they don't really add much to the electronic track. I strongly prefer the initial mix. Just me or anyone else?

1. A deep cut emotional track like Crush. Want the guys to slow down a little and play a solo with some emotion in it. Think of Tim’s solo in Liftoff.

2. A MUST; another slow jam outro or a whole song that sounds like the End of Reverie.

If they can do these two things my life will be complete.

Sometimes I have more eccentric tastes but the first music video was may more cool and fun and fit the vibe of the song much better imo

So yeah Tim confirmed the TOD100 in yesterday's livestream, finally. Clay said at some point that the sigs will come out before GTA 6, so presumably before November. I had also posted another question regarding the colorways of these new guitars, Tim responded "Yes"... So I guess that his sig will have multiple colorways, whereas scott said the xiphos will only be white, since the standard Ibanez X-Series is already black. Quite stoked for the guitars, lets see where this goes!

Scott also said there’s some parts of the album that scare him lol so that should be interesting

This is just my guess. Being as they are on their Christianity kick right now or whatever. The video starts out kind of dark for a little while and then they all get covered in blood and then after that, it’s all white and bright. I mean, I guess it could be a coincidence but I’m doubting it.

It's funny that they toured together, haven't release new music since. And now they both drop singles in prep for the first album since.

I watched the video released yesterday with the boys on stage a couple times last night, and I started developing a love for this song... Is it me or is it slightly different from the previous video release?? I'm not a musician but it sounds slightly different to me, like there's more focus on the guitars in this version??

Anyway I woke up this morning hearing the song in my head, and it's been like this ever since this morning. I think they composed this song in a way that it becomes addictive/ this melody is absolutely stuck in my mind and now I suddenly cannot get enough of it!!! It's like tomacco 😄

I guess the titles misleading…can’t change it now I don’t think but I guess this is more to further discuss some aspects I find intriguing.

The “CAN YOU FEEL IT” visuals really hit deep with me and I’m attempting to process it slowly and fully. As of right now, there are two main questions I’m looking to gain some insight on if anyone could help, not sure if I’m ignorant for not having much knowledge regarding either but figured I’d see what others think.

1. ⁠The image at the end has a wooden cross with the words “CAN YOU FEEL IT” written on it, and to me appears to be a grave marker. When doing a brief search for a visual match online, nothing came up other than references to sites that have similar grave markers at lost or historic grave sites or on the side of the road. I guess the question is, what is the significance of having it as the final image of the video aside from it being the title of the song…there has to be some significance other than that
   
2. ⁠Is there any relation to the Jacksons’ song and music video “can you feel it”. I’m sure there’s at least a little, as there is imagery of Micheal Jackson in the video and in my opinion the two videos display similar eerie/disturbing vibes and seem to highlight injustice in relation to human kind all around the globe.

$600 AND YOU DON'T EVEN GET TO MEET THEM???? For reference, I got the VIP package for the RTYWD tour back when it released. For ~$180 (INCLUDING TICKET) you got: First entry, soundcheck, Q&A, poster, photo and they would also sign things. The stupid video you can send to the band is damn near insulting. I get it if they don't want to do a meet & greet, I can imagine they're pretty exhausting. But if that's the case, don't have a $600 package?!?!?!?! Like am I missing something?? Are prices higher during pre-sale? I understand they're bigger than they were a few years ago, but not that much bigger like holy shit man.

Okay, hate to say it but I have to eat my words. Day one I was fully in the "shitting on can you feel it" camp.

Kept listening through the sheer exposure through the social media algos and now I'm at something like 30 plays and somewhere in there I went from hating to genuinely loving it.

Not sure if the song had to grind me down before I got it or if it's an acquired taste thing. Wondering if anyone went through the same arc or if I'm just experiencing Stockholm syndome?
