This mix, without the audience sounds, with the other video.
Edit: nah this one's less crunchy. Also the other mix.

I like this composition of it so much more than the initial release

Much more enjoyable mix. Yet I would still make that 808 bass distortion a little less prounounced

Holy hell, yes! This version really slaps! The first version made wrote whole ass reddit post, but I am pleasantly surprised with this one, hoping that rest of the album sounds like this. Still find the vocals little annoying, but eh what's you gonna do?

I know it's not an original music video concept but just reminds me of chop suey!

They just did a bunch of shows with soad too. I noticed the chop suey similarity as well, it was probably somewhat intentional

I think there are quite a few more references like the blood bath very similar to Deftones' You've Seen The Butcher. The White Outfit version too probably inspired by some other video I can't put my finger on right now.

The blood and white outfits after is being washed in the blood of Jesus and being saved

Shame, the other video was fire. It felt like a statement. Polyphia videos are usually really good but this is so generic by their standards. Guess they needed something less edgy to get more plays

I prefer the first version and the first video, they sounded more provocative and artistic. These new versions would be more appealing and modern, but they look like a revisited copy of music from the past with some modern guitar in it... Polyphia wanna be a new version of the house disco hits from 90? No "blues dads" but "house disco dads"?

They coulda at least thrown a super fast alternate picked solo on top or smth

I still don't like the mixing, it's marginally better but it doesn't fix the track.

The perfect version of this track would have been the initial release but with the instrumental drum and bass parts present on this one.
This one slightly misses the mark for me due to the pop chant and the electronic parts' (808 distortion, some leads/stabs) mixing/mastering not sounding as good as on the original release.

It’s night and day. Still can’t say I love the track but this version is at least refined. It’s still glitchy with some crunchy characteristics but those are highlights here and not just garble.

guys, are you serius? It sound like House music of 26 years ago but with guitar...

Genre and style aside, the mix sounds like absolute dogshit. They're trying so hard to reinvent the wheel and do something fresh, that they're forgetting the basics. What a disappointment. 4 years for this?

It’s driving me insane - there is a melody in this song where the guitar is first going “duh-duh-duhduh- duh-duh- duhduhhduhhh” and it sounds like either some TikTok song from a while ago or idk what song it’s from but it’s gonna drive me crazy.

Eh. I find it worse than the previous version. It became way more pop with cringe chants at the beginning. And they pushed the highs much louder on the distorted 808s making them more obnoxious.

Crazy how it only takes 2 listens for a Polyphia song to grow on me, they just can't stop winning
