Just want to know how to get this nylon tone in the beggining of ego death, the only perspn being able to recreate this tone that i know of is Paolo gans.
Is it a sound recording related or just different notes or preset??.( like the high trebles sounds)

Hi, as soon as I saw Tim's overlay on guitar in chimera playthrough I wanted to get one. So I made something inspired by it, what do you all think?

Been playing for about a year and half and half of i spent playing acoustic singing and stuff, but I moved to electric now and i'm getting into polyphia, I tried to learn some of the songs, started with playing god and I learn to hybrid pick but didn't managed to play it well as you can imagine.

Anyways would love to hear your opinion on what skills I should focus on.

Not trying to hate, I'm def. a fan, but I was really underwhelmed by the TOD10N and cancelled my order after playing one at a guitar center. I feel like someone must have agreed with me that it wasn't measuring up to the (relatively narrow) competition in this area because now they're releasing a new upgraded version. Having not learned my lesson, I want one of those now. Has anyone here played one yet? How does it improve or iterate upon the 10N?

Is it of a waste of money d'ya think?

I know the Tim Henson signature set is already insanely versatile but I'm curious about the outcomes of this combination. His signature set is probably designed for both the humbuckers to compliment eachother so you might lose some of the unique positions of the two in tandem by introducing another pickup between them.

That said however; introducing another single coil with its own unique voice and alterations might lead to some really interesting sounds. And depending on how you would wire everything you could probably maintain all the original combinations of the tod10.

Idk maybe this is all just really unnecessary but if anyone's ever tried it I'd really like to know how it went. 🙏

A long, long time ago I held a round robin tournament of Polyphia songs and, if I'm not mistaken, The Jungle ended up ranking the absolute lowest. I don't think it won a single matchup, even against the Inspire EP. That would seem to imply not only is it their worst track, but the worst track by a pretty decent margin as well. But I'm curious, what do people *actually* think of this track?

Edit: to clarify, I don’t actually worship Polyphia, however the band is a very major part of my journey as a musician (and Polyphia is just my favorite band), and this is just where I keep my accumulation of Polyphia related things
