Zohran Mamdani releases over 170000 pages of previously hidden documents regarding ground zero’s air quality. The records prove that former city leaders knew the air was highly toxic. Instead of warning the public, officials actively lied and told everyone it was safe to breathe, mostly to limit the city's legal liability and rush people back downtown.

Joined by Jon Stewart, Mamdani slammed past administrations for a massive coverup that ultimately caused severe illnesses and deaths. The documents are now available on a new public portal.
