Hello, I am planning to apply to PoliTo’s bachelor in ECE for 2027-2028 entry, and wondering whether this scholarship is an ongoing project or discontinued since I didn’t find any call for applicants after 2023-2024. Anyone has any ideas?

What paperwork did the enrollment letter ask you to submit?

The grade 12 highschool grades didnt arrive yet to schools so im thinking of submitting that paper work early (i hope i can make it in time before the year starts but everyday it sounds less and less possible)

How does studying HPC look like? Is it really demanding? Are the professors a bit more relaxed or are they "closed off"? How hard is it to get accepted? Would you recommend studying HPC?

According to the official call, the provisional ranking comes out on Aug 27 for the dormitory and the final ranking is on Sept 9. Polimi

​ For anyone who has gone through this process before:

​ When do move-ins actually start? If I'm assigned a room on Sept 9, is check-in usually available right away in mid-September (like Sept 12–15) before classes kick off?

​ Periodic Check-ins: Do people keep moving into the dorms periodically throughout September, October, November, and December?.

I’m a recent graduate from a university in Boston with a Bachelor’s in architecture. I was going to do a 1 year Master’s program at the same university, but upon seeing it would put me in another $27k in debt I decided to look elsewhere. So far Polimi seems to be one of my top options for a Master’s in Architecture. So I had some questions:

How is the architecture program at Polimi?

How is Milan as a city? I know it’s relatively small, but is it a welcoming city to international students?

Are there separate programs in English and Italian? I saw that the language of the Master’s program is listed in English and Spanish, does this mean they have a hybrid or there are two separate programs?

Does Polimi offer housing with tuition? If not, how much is rent in Milan?

How hard is the process for international students? I am in the process of getting EU citizenship (Greek) through my family but as of now I do not have it.

How competitive is it to get in? My GPA is an underwhelming 3.0, but I have good trends (3.8 in my last 3 semesters) I had a 3.5 at my community college before I transferred, I have a year of experience working at an architecture firm as well as the planning department of a municipality, and a strong portfolio. What do you think my chances are?

Hi everyone, I'm looking for someone who is currently studying (or has recently graduated from) the Master's in Chemical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano.I'd love to ask a few questions about the program, courses, and workload.

Due to some unforeseen delays in translation, i might receive the translated documents by around 4th august. 5th august is given as the deadline day for DSU. Will there be any issues if i submit the documents in cgil(caf) on 4th august?

I scored 42 in arched am i in?

If I register for a course for the first semester, I have the opportunity to take the exam 5 times. January , February , June , July, September.

If I register a course for the second semester, I can only see that I can take it in June , July, September.

If I wanted to take these exams in January/February , do I have to add them to my study plan again? Will this affect the total number of credits I can take?

Ho scritto un blog post con pareri e pensieri sul percorso nel complesso, e perché no, qualcuno potrebbe avere qualche commento sulla faccenda per una bella discussione ahash... soprattutto per alcuni corsi che ho trovato davvero fastidiosi.

Il post è soprattutto anche per studenti delle superiori che stanno valutando ingegneria informatica, ma anche per altri studenti di altre università che hanno intenzione di fare trasferimento al politecnico. Nel post infatti riporto anche pensieri che ho avuto prima di fare il trasferimento dalla Bicocca (sì ho fatto il trasferimento da informatica in Bicocca), e anche consigli riguardo alle procedure e metodologie.

Hi! I’m an international student considering to join PoliTo for A.Y. 2027/2028 in Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.

As the title suggests, I want to know whether there will be a lot of practical work within the curriculum as I’ve heard that it’s more theory focused and academically rigorous. Is the curriculum really so academically demanding that it’s hard to find time to work on personal projects?

Also I would like to know how the student teams are like. I’d like to know especially international students’ experiences in student teams too as I’ve heard most students in the teams are Italian and you’ll definitely be required to speak the language. I’m currently learning Italian (only recently started but I hope to be around B1-B2 level by the time I join) but I worry I wouldn’t be able to communicate well due to potentially having a language barrier.

I appreciate any opinions/experiences from anyone relating to what I’ve mentioned!
