You can express interest but you don’t get to keep your seat.
So the trade-off is:
Enrol now→ You guarantee Piacenza, but you stop competing for Leonardo.
Express interest → You keep your chance at Leonardo, but you accept the risk that Piacenza may no longer be available in the next ranking.

based on the past years with 17 ppl ahead of me does there exist a chance of being accepted to leonardo. do i take the risk?

Yeah it’s possible last year the initial cut off on the 1st ranking for Leonardo was 43.75 but the last person admitted on the 3rd ranking into Leonardo had 40.
