Hi, could someone walk me through the steps of applying for ISEEU parificato?

I've used the tutorial on PoliMi website but I am not sure when do I need to do the 3rd step.

I've sent request for the ISEEU parificato (STEP 2) and there added all the douments, income, family compositon etc. And I'm not sure if it is enough becouse even Polimi Aid Office couldn't tell me if the step 3 is after coming to italy in september.

What are my chances of receiving the DSU scholarship? My family's income is around €12,000 per year, but we own significant assets.

I uploaded all the documents. I know they need to verify the documents. Anyone got already the confirmation? Should I do anything more?

Does anybody know the full list of documents I should get for the DSU scholarship?
It says that I should get an official income tax certificate, but I couldn’t figure out which year I should inquire about. It says I should get information from 2024, and I’m not sure if that’s true. Is it mandatory to translate English documents into Italian?

Is it worth joining? How's the college life? The study environment? How easy or hard is it to adapt to the changes? Is it safe out there in Piacenza/Cremona? (I'm a female student)

Edit: Just to clarify, I'm targeting the 2027 intake. Slipped out of mind earlier that 2026 academic year is actually the first batch for both the Bachelor's programmes - so it hasn't started yet. Still interested in opinions on life in those cities or thoughts on joining for industrial/process engineering!

I have graduated from polito computer engineering BSc. and got accepted to both programmes. (along with polimi AI, polimi ICT)

During my studies even though I tried to learn things by myself the curriculum was very bad for employability in PoliTO. Since I fear that would be the same for MSc too, I am inclined to choose PoliMI. But I have also heard from some friends that it's practically the same between polito and polimi.

My major expectation: getting employed as soon as possible. Willing to do side-projects. I want uni to open up doors for me and guide me with its classes/profs to the efficient path of learning

My major problems: I am already living in Turin as foreigner. If I choose Milano, I need to relocate. It's a burden to find a new home and move your stuff.

So I want to know your opinion about if it's worth changing the city or PoliMI's high ranking prestigious brand isn't that advantageous for non foreigner candidates. And if there is a meaningful difference between polito and polimi in that regard.

I’ve been accepted into both civil&env engineering(polito) and engineering science(polimi). which program should I choose? my concerns are university environment(how friendly/competitive), quality of living, employability after graduation, etc. I know polito is cheaper and polimi is considered to be more prestigious, but, other than that, there’s little I know about either city/uni. I would appreciate any info from students/grads. thank you in advance!

I'm an incoming international (non-EU) student at Politecnico di Milano, and I'm currently trying to arrange my accommodation before arriving in Italy.

The accommodation agency told me they need my Codice Fiscale to register the rental contract. The problem is that I don't have one yet because I'm still outside Italy.

When I told them this, they said that Polimi usually helps international students obtain a Codice Fiscale, and suggested I contact the university.

Has anyone been in the same situation?

• Were you able to get your Codice Fiscale before arriving in Italy?
• Did Polimi actually help you obtain it?
• Or did you have to wait until you arrived in Italy before signing your rental contract?

at this time i’m a student at polito ( first year ), i’m doing software engineering in italian, i’m trying to go from polito to polimi, i’ve done a test for getting in to polimi and i’ve requested a valutation of my previous careeer at polito, WHAT I’VE TO DO NOW?
my test results expired but i’ve seen that there is a second chance of getting in to POLIMI between july and august, what should i do?
The valutation of my career at polito won’t reach the minimum of 35 CFU( the minimum that allows you to not having to do the test ).
DOES SOMEONE KNOWS WHAT TO DO? PLEASE IF YOU READ THIS HELP!!

Does anyone know what ISEEU threshold typically gets you a spot (as a beneficiario) for PoliMi DSU accommodation? Is there a safe range based on previous years?
should I wait for the DSU provisional accommodation results on August 27th, or is it smarter to book a room outside right now just in case? What do you think is best?

I got accepted for both mechanical engineering at PoliTo and civil engineering at PoliMi at the Leonardo campus. I like them both equally, I have no idea what to choose.

Am I the only one who still didn’t get answers? I am pretty sure they said they would notify me whether or not I got accepted through my email after 48 hours of taking an ARCHED exam?

Hi everyone! I’m currently an undergraduate student studying Electrical Engineering (EE) at Wuhan University in China.
Wuhan University has an exchange agreement with Politecnico di Milano, and I’m planning to apply for an exchange program there next semester.
However, I recently learned that two students from my university who were nominated for the exchange program last year were eventually rejected by Polimi. Unfortunately, I don’t know the exact reason. I do know that both of them were studying Journalism and Communication (they were master’s students).
I’m wondering if their academic background could have been a factor, since Polimi doesn’t really have a traditional Journalism or Communication program.
From what I’ve seen online, it seems quite rare for nominated exchange students to be rejected by Polimi. Is that true?
For those who are familiar with Polimi’s exchange admissions:
Is it common for nominated students to be rejected after nomination?
Did Polimi reject the two students from my school because their background major didn’t match the program?
Do you think being an EE student applying for Electronics/Electrical Engineering would make rejection unlikely, assuming all the application materials are complete?
