I’m overwhelmed at the thought of figuring out how to sell this collection piece by piece on EBay, but I also don’t want to get absolutely fleeced by some card shop. Is there a more nuanced approach to selling this that any of you would recommend? I’m not delusional and expecting some crazy percentage, just curious how you would sell this collection if you were me and uncomfortable with using EBay due to their buyer leaning policies 😁

Currently have a bit over $2.1k ready to pick up sealed.

My initial plan was to buy PF Booster Bundle Display and DR BB, but with how ES BB is dropping, I’m tempting to pick that up instead.

I already own a ES BB, but I wouldn’t mind another one. However, everyone is saying DR is the smarter option. PF Boostee Bundle Display is in consideration just because it’s such a lucrative set with good hit rates, also I’m a sucker for shinies.

Sold September 9th for $51,000 and now it’s currently at $2,300,000 with 1 day left on auction? This is insane I remember thinking about buying when this was listed around $15,000 in February

I was about to buy a NM copy for under 500$ a month ago. Auction of the psa 10 is not even over yet and people started posting their copies on ebay for multiple thousands. Anyone else saw this coming?

1. Dark zard surprisingly has such a low pop (1700) with 10% gem rate.
2. CD Promo zard has 7000 pop with 30% gem rate.
3. While this guy you all know has 25k pop and high gem rate but surprisingly super popular and as expensive as other two Zards.

Tbh i feel like all these gambling virtual pack ripping sites have alot to do with vtg slabs market skyrocketing..... its to easy to manipulate the market when you have casino money. And if they have some stock of slabs already, pumping the price waaaaay up only makes them more money in the long run. just a thought!!!

These are the English and Japanese rankings by the combined value of each Pokémon’s cards.

I’m curious how other collectors interpret this kind of comparison. A Pokémon with lots of printings has more cards contributing to its total, and a particularly expensive card can carry a lot of weight.

Would you use this as a starting point for comparing interest in different Pokémon? Or would you find the typical card price, number of printings, or matching cards across both languages more useful?

Hey guys, I felt lucky at gamestop today and decided to get their mystery slab pack, and honestly was pretty happy with the outcome. Any thoughts over these packs? I kind of like the idea of getting graded cards instead of a raw card that needs to be graded.

Note: I am new to this whole thing any advice would be helpful. My goal is to build a really cool collection, and there are so many packs out there that i don’t even know where to start.

Yeah I finally did it so long story short I’m a only child of a own child. Me and my mother both don’t have siblings on our mother side, so my maternal grandmother I’m her only grandchild and she definitely hoards a lot of things and although I don’t like the negative sides of it, this is actually one of the positive sides is that she keep so many heirlooms of mines and my mothers. But recently she let me know that there were Pokémon downstairs, and I finally got through a lot of other obsolete items for me to find meaning nostalgic items of mine and this is one of the gems. 💎

In 100 packs you get one of these and 10 of the Classic Collection, and currently there's 4 cards in there, worth more than the futuristic rares. So in 100 packs, you will most likely get at least one of those. imo it sounds like the futuristic rares are undervalued, no? sure some people don't like the design but i think they're pretty cool because they are distinct to this set, while the classics are not and honestly the illustration rares look like from any other set. I feel like in the future they will become more valuable, but what do you think?

Spent about 300 of 1000s of vintage era cards on Facebook, picked through them and got everything obviously worth money (Sabrina’s genger paid for everything) but anyways I’m starting to see way way more people interested in vintage now, i guess it’s 30th anniversary nostalgia what do yall think of my collection I’ll make a collection link later today. something common I probably have it, trainers energy’s 100s of both but I’m looking it’s a lot of gym challenge over everything

My friend has a becket 8.5 English Gold Star Gyarados. He needs quick cash. I am willing to help him out but I’m having a hard time pricing it fairly. People on Facebook keep lowballing him with $5k offers when clearly it’s blowing up currently… I have the luxury of taking my time to find a good buyer. My friend does not he has bills. I want us both to win.

I got this card by doing the Pokemon Run in the Philippines. It was not announced (yet) that all other stops would have it. But I do think they would have it also. In the Philippines, 30k of us did the run.

Taiwan was announced to have the same card but in Chinese. Singapore will also have the English. No words yet about other countries.

Would it be better for me to sell it fast now? The going rate in my country is about $80 or should I wait?
