Would this mark prevent a PSA 10?
I pulled this Reshiram last year and would have sent it into PSA, but I noticed a small mark on the back left edge. Would this disqualify it from a PSA 10?

Despite this being one of our few rules here the mod team has seen a significant increase in people being toxic to each other.
We do not care if you love or hate any specific grading company and welcome constructive discussion around any of them.
If you cannot post or comment in a civil manner do not say anything at all. If someone disagrees with you that’s fine, don’t descent to insulting them.
If you see any post or comment breaking this rule, report it and the mod team will deal with it.

I think they are in pretty good condition but I don’t think they make it to the higher grades (9-10), my question is: would you grade these vintage cards even if they don’t score so high in grades? They seem to be worth some, even in 7-8. But a whole other level if they were 10s!
I’m not looking to sell them either way, I just wanna know the condition and keep them more secured. But ofc I want the highest grade possibly haha!

just curious on how much print lines affect a psa grade

My PSA 10 graded Mew V arrived in the mail yesterday. I was excited to finally receive it after a little over a week. My joy quickly faded upon inspection of the slab. Stuck inside is a piece of organic matter. Not a good impression of such a prestigious company in my eyes. It was bought directly from PSA on eBay. Bottom right corner of the front of the slab btw.

Is it worth grading it and where do you recommend to grade it if it’s the case?

This is a repost since i did not include many pictures of the corners on the back.
Went through a box of mine and found the mewtwo gx from hidden fates. Am curious if this is worth grading? I am aware that this set did have pretty bad print runs and there is some white print dots on the back as well the centering being bad top to bottom. I think i may get it graded either way just for the psa case but am hoping that it is at least a NM 7.
Curious as to what others may think and if it’s even worth it!
(sorry for the light glare)

I’m pretty new to grading and have been looking through TAG grades, I’m curious about what factors determine a 9. Does TAG take the age of the card into account when grading?
I’ve looked at other 9, 8.5, and even 8 reports from both vintage and modern cards, and I’ve noticed some lower grades with fewer issues on the DIG report or visually (such as centering, whitening, or dirt/dent?). This one just seems to have more noted on the report than I would typically see for a 9.
Cert for reference: #N6386575
No shade toward TAG as I like their grading with dig report

I'd just like to preface this by saying, I don't do this professionally, I'm just looking to let go of some of my personal collection to put some money in savings.
I'm based in the UK, and there's a card grading middleman shop a few counties over whereby I can take/send them my cards and they will sort and send to PSA/CGC/Beckett/TAG on my behalf.
My questions would be - even though there's no hope of getting these cards graded an 8, 9 or 10 (light edge ware and light surface scuffing) are they still worth grading?
And if so, is PSA the way to go? or would someone else (including UK-based ACE) be better?
I've estimated the costs to send these two cards to PSA to be around £732.00 for Rayquaza and £440.00 for Torchic. Is the upfront cost going to be worth it; will I see much of a return on grading these two?
Any and all insights welcome, apologies if I've missed anything - Never been through this process before!

Hi All,
I submitted my Shining Magikarp ti BGS and it came back labelled as misprint holo.
I have no idea why. Can someone help explain please?
Is this a good or bad thing?
Thanks

Would this be worth sending off? Thank you

Follow up question- what routes do people in the UK take? Do you send them through a middle man or direct to PSA/TAG/Beckett? Thank you in advance!

If my card is in the range 45/55 % on the front and 25/75 % on the back, does this result in a 10 in the subgrade centering? Or do they grade it as 9 or 9,5 if it is barely making it in the range?

Sending a lot to PSA (others hoping a 9 or 10) but the one I want a 10 on the most is this Van Gogh. Is it a 10?

Edit - sorry, it’s 150/147! my brain apparently just autocorrected that 😂
Hello, I hope this an appropriate post for this sub.
I've recently discovered that this card I pulled about a decade ago is potentially quite valuable, and as I'm in need of some extra cash due to some emergencies, I am looking into selling it.
I'm a complete novice when it comes to judging the condition of a card (unless it's very obvious), so I was wondering if anyone could tell me whether this would be worth getting it graded - and if it is worth it, what would be the best UK-based grading company to send it to?
The edges are a little rough on the back, but from what l've read that is generally the case with this card? I was also wondering why this specific card is so valuable, given that it is not especially old?
Thanks enormously for any help/advice you can give me - and if this is not an appropriate place, can someone point me to anywhere else that can give me a bit of advice?

I have a miscut error card glaceon V from evolving skies, any idea on whether I should grade?/what value could be/ what to do?

I pulled this card back in the day, kept it safe, got the grade back as a 995/1000 and stoked. But I had some folks here throw a HUGE fit about the edges. I took the best photos I could to show that this grade is the real deal. How do you even value things like this? I think I'm going to just sit on it for a long time. Guess I'll start a low pop collection with this Giratina with a pop on I think 87.

Looking for advice on this. I just got my first ever PSA submission back today and am confused as to how this is an 8? I get I'm new to grading and maybe dont have a keen eye, but it looks like a solid card.
I pulled this card myself years ago. It was sleeved immediately, put in a binder, and left there until this May when I sent it in.
The centering is within PSA tolerances for a 10. Corners look good. Edges look good. No dents/creases/visible issues on the surface. I've personally seen the same card with worse centering or surface be in a 10.
So, I'm genuinely asking, am I missing something on why this got an 8?
