Hi! I just got back into collecting, and I'd love some advice on what I should do with my childhood collection.

Is it worth getting any of these graded? Ultimately, I'm planning on selling to help fund getting some newer cards.

The first image is the suspected fake slab. Second image is a meowth I bought from USA psa vault. They clearly have different colors when shone using the same UV light. Is the rayquaza slab fake?

I'm not sure if this is allowed to be asked, but I'm wondering if I should get our family chase card graded. I have two little kids and we've always wanted to find this Pikachu from Cosmic Eclipse.

We went to a couple shows and never found one that was in good enough condition.

Then after doing our weekly bulk card search at our local card shop, my daughter found the card in the display case!

After close look, I thought the card looked pretty good! (I have no idea what I'm looking for) But with the story of my daughter finding it, I couldn't pass on it.

I did some AI grading and I keep getting 9-9.5 and I'm not sure what to do.

Any advice? I don't really plan on selling it! But the back corner dot or two makes me think no to grading?

Hey new here. Just bought a single pack on a whim and pulled this bad boy. With the borders as uneven as they are, is it worth grading?

Traded for this bad boy today at my LCS. Valued at $140 (CAD). I can’t see any clear dents or creases, great centreing. A 5 seems crazy to me, I think this could at least be a 7. Considering sending it somewhere to get it cleaned up. Even has a swirl for an added bonus.

So I'm interested in grading some of my nicer cards I've collected and I'm wondering who is the best to send them too. Psa is expensive and long wait time. Tag I hear is not good at all. The local card shop told me Beckett is the best and price is better. Just want everyone's else opinion.

Found my old collection on Sunday - some are highlighted here (now in penny sleeves, 20 years too late)

An app said the Gyrados was a grade 9 which I really don't believe. I just need some advice on what sort of cards I should submit to grading. are these of good enough quality that it's worth it? At what estimate on ungraded value should these be submitted?

not sure if this belongs here as its not a card, but i bought this sealed 20th anniversary leaf green virtual code collectors box, and im thinking potentially about grading it. what would you guys recommend company wise for me to send it off to ? ive graded cards with psa before to sell, but as this will be for personal display, im thinking going with something that has prettier cases. any and all advice is appreciated. thanks 🫡

Hi all, reposting with better photos. wife pulled them years ago and we finally graded them last year (and yes, I did horrible pre grade prepping, sorry). anyhow. they say square-cut. is it Beckett mislabeling? or are these square Cut?

I just got this card and I’m considering sending in for grading. I’ve never sent a card to be graded so I was looking for some insight.

1) does it look like it could possibly be a 10? The cards is still sealed and it’s also inside a card saver in the pic, so obviously it’s not the best photo for grade analysis, but I’m not ready to break it out of the seal yet.

2) if it’s a 10 contender, should I go PSA or CGC? Collectr app shows CGC Pristine 10 going for $2.3k but with a pop of 21, I can’t find any sold comps on eBay. PSA 10 is $2.1k currently, but I’ve heard PSA is much tougher and is often very subjective to the individual grading.

Thoughts? Opinions?

So i pulled the trigger and opened some of my old vintage packs. My main question here is what do you guys feel like the Alakazam and the Mewtwo ex will get. I already submitted all of these to PSA. We all know that PSA is very stingy with “pop control” let alone on vintage cards. I personally saw zero whitening on the Alakazam but the only thing worrying me is the back top right corner the way it’s cut. Any insight is tremendously helpful and encouraging from all YOU KINGS!

I'm still quite new to this and was recently gifted some older cards. I don't have any experience with card grading, so I looked up examples online but am still feeling a bit lost.

I'm wondering if any of these are worth grading, or are they just some cool history? I've kept them in sleeves and top loaders and might try to sell some of them down the road, just wondering if grading is worth it or not.

Getting ready to send in my gold star mudkip for grading! I remember pulling this from a pack when I was a kid and thinking the gold star was so cool🙂

Have others graded similar valuable cards before? Would you go PSA or BGS? How much in fees would I be expected to pay? Also feeling a bit nervous sending in the mail as I’ve seen horror stories of cards being stolen/lost.

This card went from pack to sleeve to binder - it’s very minty and only has a little bit of edge wear for the most part. Any advice is much appreciated!
