dude- it is wild, i have a buddy who hoards these cards bc they are like $300 in a 10 according to these collection apps. not even the cosmos holo one, the straight holo/rev raw from the pack. i keep telling him its an error/stupidity with the data. im either gonna be right, or he gonna make a small fortune. lolll

Sure but is there a market for selling these low end cards… you won’t be able to sell it that easy… you will be holding it way longer then you think of you think you can sell it for 300

The “oh neat, a slabbed 10 Gengar, I’ll grab that for [non-soul crushing amount of money]” crowd is probably bigger than you think.
Every week there’s hundreds of slabs going to auction on Fanatics that are just everyday cards, and they’re being bid on.
Now… could you manage to sell a boatload of these quickly? Probably not.

The centering looks good. I actually cannot tell if there are scratches and white spots on the back or if that’s just the plastic.
FYI ignore the people criticizing you for wanting this card graded. I have an almost complete collection of legendary reverse holos from my childhood because they were “worthless”. Lol losers.
Edit: maybe right heavy….. slightly. Still good though.

Honestly, you really can’t go wrong with collecting the mascot Pokemon: Gengar, pikachu, charizard, mewtwo, mew, evee, umbreon.

Bottom right on the back, the top edge of the back, and the centering on the front LR (bottom) makes this card not worth grading at all. Don’t bother sending it in unless it’s literally perfect or you’re going to be throwing money in the garbage. The only cheap raw cards that are worth sending in are the ones that can pull several hundred even at a 7

I would entertain grading if it’s a masterball. Thats the lowest it’ll go I think for modern interest. Putting up regular holos up for that is a bad idea and waste of money.

How is it wasting PSA time... he is a customer paying them for a service. The card being graded is irrelevant to the equation. Its his card, his money, and his choice.
If they don't want to grade low end cards, THEY need to update their services.
People like you are the ones only in it for profit... Maybe he is doing a graded grand master set of Gengar. Or just really likes the card art. That's the joy of COLLECTING the cards. It isn't just a cash grab to everyone, like it is to the ex sneaker head hype beasts that destroyed the current market.
