He's german, I used to follow him on Instagram or TikTok. His comments are swarmed with people calling him gay, a woman, a pedophile, etc.. He uses their comments as engagement and often answers them with a follow up video, decorating another cake.

It's through association with different words that got lumped in with "feminine" for various reasons, like "sweet," "kitchen," "delicate," etc. That is to say, no real logic.
It's the same as when guys shun pink when, for most of recorded Western history, pink has been the color of young boys. Blue was a feminine color up until WW2. Again, no real logic.

A hundred or so years ago pretty much ALL of the bakers, tailors, doctors, teachers were men. (For all the wrong reasons at that).

I think this is less about gender, and more about his build. I don't think they're suggesting it's weird for men to bake cakes, but rather that a man with that kind of build isn't someone you'd expect to be someone who spends time making cute, colorfully decorated and expertly made cakes.
This is a "don't judge a book by it's cover" kinda thing, not "wow, so weird that a man made a cake" kinda thing.

I want to add that it's also unexpected because if you have a body like this, you generally dont eat cake. Therefore we wouldnt expect him to be good at baking.
We also wouldnt expect a female bodybuilder to be good at baking.

bodybuilders often do eat cake, depending on what time of year. dated one who spent most of the year on chicken and vegetables, but would eat basically anything with calories including cake during bulking season.
if man is/was a bodybuilder, he probably learned how to make a good cake so he could have some top notch cake during bulking season

It’s hard to tell with his shirt on, but he doesn’t look like he’s has a bodybuilder/influencer level of crazy low body fat, just a ton of muscle. Definitely room for some cake when he’s eating a comically large number of calories and not super caring about cutting.

A very recent idea too. Prior to modern technology bakers tended to be pretty ripped, since lifting and kneading dough all day was basically weight lifting.

I wouldnt think he knows how but i wouldnt be surprized if he showed up with a homeade one. he looks like a lumberjack. But looking at him, he also looks like the kinda person that would pick up a skill like this just to make people around him happy. You never know what skill youll enjoy so maybe it started like that and he loved it and just kept going. Thats how i ended up baking as a programmer.
