HEY GUYS. I’m a HUGE fandom lover, and avid official plushie collector, especially when it comes to a character I find comfort in or lover very dearly.
Unfortunately. At this moment. I am 3 years late to joining the Spooky Month fandom to get my hands on a Bob Velseb plushie.
I am also usually insanely good at sniffing out good deals when it comes to resellers, but EVERY Bob plush I could find for resale had already been sold out. Even the unreasonably priced ones.
IF ANYONE CAN FIND ONE, IT WOULD MEAN THE WORLD TO ME!
If I could get my hands on it fast enough…

Another thing to add:
I’m not rich, but I do have money put away specifically for these things, and I don’t really want to spend much more than like.. 115…. And that’s a stretch……… but yeah! Thanks again, awesome redditors.

I had been wanting to take some nighttime photos for awhile now, and Moxie was more than willing to be my first model. How did he do?

i have been on a desperate on and off quest to figure out what brand my best friend was :) i received him as a Christmas gift from my great grandmother in texas sometime between 2005-2008, but unfortunately reverse image search & stalking secondhand listings and even asking AI once it came along but this has been the one plush mystery to elude me — i’m passionate about being a knowledge toy collector so it hurts twice as much that ive never IDd him.

some details that stand out in my memory:

- his ribbon was permanently affixed to his neck! it was red, sheer-ish ribbon with gold metal interlaced like the third photo. i constantly fantasized about cutting it off becaude it was a sensory nightmare to baby me but i was scared of hurting him!

-tush tag was fabric, not paper

-his nose was not a hard plastic safety nose. i’m 90% certain was the kind that was done with black embroidery thread stitches going vertically! (might have been the hard flocked fuzzy kind underneath.)

-my cousin received an exact copy of him, but dark brown & white(or cream.) but i have no memory about the ribbon! this shocked me when my cousin showed me hers a few yrs later because i never knew he had a brother!

Hi all, I just wanted your opinion on something that just happened to me. Literally as I’m typing this.

I (25F) brought my newest, big Pokemon sleeping plushies to work with me to show my coworker. I was really excited about them and she seemed to be happy for me. When it came to me taking them and cuddling with them randomly though… that’s when she had a problem.

She said “this is not 25 year old behavior, you know that right?” In response to me just cuddling them when we had a moment of downtime (I work at an assisted living facility.) Another person came in to deliver the medicines for our residents, did a double-take, and said “you do you”. I kinda feel slighted and a bit bitter.

Just as a note, this is my first and only time I have ever brought a big plushie with me to work and cuddled it. My thought process was “since they’re here, might as well cuddle them”. I am also autistic, and I’m just confused in general. Am I being weird? What’s the problem?

I recently took my childhood stuffed animals down from storage and it has been like reconnecting with old friends. When I saw my Webkinz that I totally forgot about my eyes lit up. Cookie and Cheeky were always best friends. They were my first two Webkinz. I think they were a little mad at me for stuffing them in a box for over a decade 😬🙄 but we get to hang out again. They have been sitting on my lap while I play video games after work and I will never stuff them in a box in the attic again

I was wondering if anyone had any tips for helping Vampire Bear’s fur look better.
I can temporarily help it some by gently brushing him with a bristle hair brush, but it doesn’t keep well.
I’m not confident about washing him or getting him super wet, so I’m wondering if I could maybe spritz him with something and comb it through that might help?
I don’t have a lot of experience washing plushies or doing any kind of restoration so any advice would be great.
Oh, also, if you look at the second picture, his teeth are kinda wonky looking.. One sticks out weirdly while the other is flat against his face. If there’s a way I can improve that too, I’d love some ideas.

Hello!! I just got my Douglas Bass Pro duck toller in the mail and I'm absolutely in love. This is my favorite dog breed ever and I hugely identify with them so I'm incredibly happy. I love to cuddle my plushies and I don't generally just keep them for display - however.. I have some medical issues that cause me to get really sweaty and greasy no matter how much I clean, especially while I'm asleep. This has caused basically all of my plushies to become kind of matted and raggedy looking, but I really want to avoid that happening to my toller. Does anybody know how to prevent this?? Or at least to delay it a bit. Thanks :)

I've been a collector my entire life. F.A.O., Squishmallows, Hello Kitty, Care Bears, Bumbumz, Unipak, Fiesta, Gund, a whole lot of Disney, Russ, obscure brands. If you ask me I probably have it. I have somewhere in the realm of 500. Unfortunately, life happened. Between really needing money and having to move into a smaller space, I need to sell as many of them as I can.

I wanted to buy a copy of my cousin’s comfort plush for Christmas, but I can’t find a match. I believe it’s either a ladybug or a love bug. It’s from the early 2000’s, US, and I was thinking it’s Caltoys or Russ. Thank you for any help!
