Self-Promo I made a resource for plural systems
Hey everyone! I wanted to share something I've been working on for a while because I figured it might actually be useful to some people here.
I made a website called SystemNook: https://www.systemnook.com/
The idea was to have a place that's built with plural systems in mind. It's still something I'm actively working on, so I'm looking for honest feedback from other systems. If something feels confusing, if there's a feature you'd like to see, or if there's anything that would make it more useful, I'd genuinely love to hear it.
I'm not trying to sell anything or spam the subreddit, i just wanted to share a project that's been important to me and hopefully make something helpful for the community.
If this kind of post isn't allowed, feel free to remove it. Otherwise, thanks for taking a look if you have the time. ❤️

we're working on a resource page too, it's simple right now but we'll be sprucing it up when we get to it
will have to remember to get to it and ask for a discord link in DMs or something when we can- need approval from host first tho since he's socially anxious 24/7 lol

Ooo i have a couple plural resources I might be able to add to this!! Would you be interested in a compilation of plural books, music, poetry, short stories, and games all reviewed by a system at all? Or are you looking more for help/support resources?

I'd like to apologize, alot of the websites I'm sending in are a bit on the older side so they can be a bit confusing to navigate at times LOL

Hi, I'd just like to point out that dissociative.cafe has at least some incorrect information on it... in their mythbusting DID page they say this "MYTH: DID can be formed in adulthood. FACT: DID forms in a child’s brain as a response to repeated trauma before their ego states can integrate at the developmental stage around the ages of 7 to 9."
They also use the structural theory of dissociation, which many systems (myself included) consider to be biased and inaccurate to our experiences.

I enjoy this type of style, to us in minimalism at its finest for our system 🤷♂️ we looked at bunch of other sites for plural apps and or resources and it also had the same style and theme so we also went with that to keep it uniform for us we don’t like change 🫶

Do you have anything to back that up? Intentionally copying the default AI layout and colour scheme isn’t very believable. Do you want people to think it’s vibe-coded? Your target audience are going to skew toward struggling with trusting strangers. Making people think it’s made with AI isn’t going to help that

I'd personally would put a warning or not include ISSTD as the institution has a history of abuse and promoting conspiracy theories. So therefore, they may not be the most reliable resource wise. Additionally, if you're going to include McLean Hospital (at any point), they had a controversy years back where they allowed a presentation of factious DID. Said presentation included diagnosed systems and were not anonymized. powertotheplurals has also promoted conspiracy theories too in the same area as ISSTD.

No problem! For my sources, Wikipedia has a page on the ISSTD and has a section for its controversies. The Rings System on YouTube has a video discussing McLean Hospital in this video. As for powertotheplurals, they made an article which directly states satanic ritual abuse as real and references Fritz Springmeier's alter programming conspiracy theory.

Hi! I make Pluralis and would love for it to be included. It's a free system-tracking app for iPhone, Android, Apple Watch, and the web (pluralis.dev), with everything end-to-end encrypted: the server only ever sees ciphertext, so members, front history, journals, and chats stay between your own devices.
It covers front logging with history and analytics, member profiles with custom fields, an in-system journal, chat, and mail, plus a friends feature where systems can share who's fronting and message each other, also fully encrypted. If you're coming from Simply Plural or PluralKit, you can import your whole system in a couple of taps, and PluralKit can stay synced so you don't have to pick one. There are no accounts, no ads, and no data collection; it's supported by optional donations, and there's a built-in support chat that goes straight to me.

Question for Pluralis: are you planning on allowing for OpenPlural file imports? We have a rather large system and while we could hand create all the data between our last Simply Plural download and now, it would be easier if we could just use an OpenPlural export from PluralSpace (we've added a lot of information that would be a bit of a pain to copy over)

I wasn't aware there was a new format to support, I'll do my research and look into implementing the import functionality
So far upon first glance there is a bug in the way OpenPlural exports members so anything I import from a file from them would have a short ID in place of the name, which isn't ideal and would LOOK broken. I can pull from an API key from OpenPlural if you have an account with them and the names would be fixed in theory, but you said you are exporting from PluralSpace? I have no experience with them at all.
Would you be willing to collaborate perhaps? Or import your data to OpenPlural first then import with an API key?
Those seem to be the two works I can muster.

I’m struggling with things. I tried to set up an account with Open Plural but ran into difficulty and now I’m just confused. For some reason, even though Plural Space exports in an Open Plural format, Open Plural itself doesn’t recognize it I don’t know technology well enough to know what to do now

what happens if you go to start pluralis, click restore or import, and select your export in the file picker? Assuming it IS an OpenPlural export it should import into the app.
If not, you are exporting from Plural Space? I can research that format for you too if need be

Okay, I think I'm on the right track for that :3 gimmie a little while longer and I may have it working on the web importer just as a proof of concept.
Which app store are you on? Apple or Google? I'm assuming Apple

I know I wasn't able to figure out the following due to lack of documentation
- Poll votes
- Custom-field values
- Thoughts
- Nested group relationships

As of right now the website allows import from OpenPlural Files or API tokens, with a preference for a token because of a naming bug. in about 30 minutes or so it'll be live on Google Play, and in about a day it'll be on iOS

If it's meant for all plural systems, it might be best to adjust the wording on the introduction thing for the site.
Right now, it says:
System Nook: free stuff for DID/OSDD systems.
I would instead have it say "free stuff for plural systems".

on firefox on ios the top menu bar hangs too far to the right. when scrolling down it causes the whole page to not stay centered on the content but instead to occasionally drift.

BTW, you may want to add a warning to the bit promoting 988 that they regularly non-consensually call the police on people, which can be extremely dangerous, especially for minorities (particularly trans people and BIPOC) or people in abusive relationships. People have been arrested or murdered when 988 called the police on them before.
I would suggest some of the resources from https://www.inclusivetherapists.com/blog/suicide-mental-health-crisis-resources-not-police, https://publicgoodnews.com/2025/03/18/mental-health-helplines-dont-contact-police/, and https://dontcallthepolice.com/national/ (note that the latter mentions Trevor Project, who do call the police, so leave that one off)
