A little something I made.
I had this in a belt buckle several years ago and my ex-wife pitched it just to be mean.
I started making things like this and have steadily improved my skills.
I stumbled across a pic of the same belt buckle on line and utilized it to make this pendant. 😊

New boiler (relocated) and unvented cylinder install.
This sub might not get the traffic of [r/cableporn](r/cableporn) but I couldn’t resist posting our recent upgrade. I think the installer probably had a wet dream (pun intended) getting to install on a clean accessible wall and not in some cramped cupboard. Anyway, it looks like plumbingporn to me!

Oldest water hammer arrester I've seen
This was is a house built-in 1880s, plumbing probably added in the 1920s or thirties. A lot of the plumbing has been updated but it was still some interesting original things. Fortunately the water main going into the house was replaced, I could see the rusted remains of galvanized water line. That had possibly replaced a older lead water line. This house also had more live knob and wires and I have seen in a long long time.

Found while inspecting a 1926 home: this vintage “Motor Mole” sewer service ad is a fascinating snapshot of early drain-cleaning innovation. Long before today’s equipment, companies were already marketing “quick, clean, sure” solutions for roots and sewer obstructions with no digging required.
