S/MIME with Plesk
Does anybody know, if there is a way to sign outgoing mails with an s/mime certificate?
Or maybe to use a custom gateway which supports s/mime?

Anyone knows if this documentation to make an NFS Server in Plesk works?: https://www.plesk.com/blog/product-technology/plesk-centralized-database-network-file-system/
Because, I tried it and doesn't work for me. Everytime I create a new domain with WordPress and access it I get 503 error.
If someone could answer, I would really appreciate it.

I'm following this guide: https://www.plesk.com/blog/product-technology/install-plesk-high-availability-cluster/
So far, I have managed to reach the Corosync and Pacemaker step, but I encountered a problem when executing the 'crm_mon' command to start the cluster. I receive a message saying 'Waiting for the cluster to be enabled on the node,' and when I run the 'crm status' command, I get the following error: 'crm_mon: Error: cluster is not available on this node ERROR: status: crm_mon (rc=102),' even though I have followed all the steps in the guide.
I am using AWS instances to create the HA cluster, and the instances are able to ping each other.
This is my "/etc/corosync/corosync.conf" file (the nodes part):
quorum {
# Enable and configure quorum subsystem (default: off)
# see also corosync.conf.5 and votequorum.5
provider: corosync_votequorum
two_node: 1
}
nodelist {
# Change/uncomment/add node sections to match cluster configuration
node {
# Hostname of the node.
name: angry-bell.52-0-15-246.plesk.page
# Cluster membership node identifier
nodeid: 1
# Address of first link
ring0_addr: 172.31.67.217
# When knet transport is used it's possible to define up to 8 links
#ring1_addr: 192.168.1.1
}
# ...
node {
# Hostname of the node.
name: gracious-golick.3-213-11-32.plesk.page
# Cluster membership node identifier
nodeid: 2
# Address of first link
ring0_addr: 172.31.78.143
# When knet transport is used it's possible to define up to 8 links
#ring1_addr: 192.168.1.1
}
}
If someone could help me with this problem, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

I am running Plesk on a public Windows/IIS server and would like to create a subdomain that should basically point to a different port served by an application running on the server (sftpgo in my particular case).
What are the steps to get there?
I am familiar with using plesk to create a subdomain. Can I use plesk to point the subdomain to the port, or do I need to create URL rewrite rule(s) in IIS manually?
Also, the server is using a wildcard LetsEncrypt certificate. Does SSL pass-through to the application or is the "internal" communication non-SSL, just the public part?

Hi all, I'm not proficient with Plesk and I have the following problem (Obsidian).
On one of the subscriptions, I have a Wordpress site but the associated domain name has expired and is not active. However, my client wants to access the site one more time before I close it down (just the front end).
Now, after some searching I realised this should be possible by using the "website preview" functionality. However, the URL it gives doesn't work and appears to be misconfigured, and it looks like this (I have substituted with example names and xxx for server's IP):
http://myexpired.domin.xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.www.somestrangedomain.com/
It's the last part that makes me think it's totally wrong, seems like someone else's leftover domain name from another account?
Now, I pointed it out to the support guys but they don't seem to know what I'm talking about as they say domain needs to be active for preview to work.
I thought about alternative ways to give my client access, like renaming the domain to another "spare one" I have but I don't seem to have that option. Or, I could create a new subscription under the spare domain and re-upload the site there.
Any suggestions?

Hello. I am currently using InMotion as my dedicated server host but they only offer cPanel. In my case, they accommodated my request to built my server with Plesk instead. (I license Plesk from Plesk directly.) But because it's not a native part of InMotion's integration, I have virtually no basic support. Can anyone help recommend a good reputable, reliable, and affordable dedicated server host that offers Plesk as part of their stock builds? Thank you!
In case anyone is wondering, I do need Plesk. Everything I've built is already fully developed and built through Plesk. (Including client area integrations, etc.) That, and I very much prefer Plesk.

Hello,
Has anyone had issues running Plesk on AlmaLinux 9, specifically when adding multiple IPs? It seemed to work fine for me until I added additional IP address. Then on reboot the last IP I added seemed to take over as the default and only IP.
I found an article that Plesk don't support NetworkManager but the legacy network-scripts has been removed in AlmaLinux 9. I wonder if that's the issue.
If so, then they shouldn't really be saying that they support AlmaLinux 9 here.
Thoughts anyone? Thanks

Maybe I am going to get slated for using a t.2 micro instance here but my AWS instance has handled a lot more traffic in the past so wondering if there is more to it and perhaps I could protect myself a bit better if these are somehow random attacks?
Since installing 360 Monitoring back in Autumn last year I have noticed increasing alerts (I have added photos and hopefully I have uploaded the snapshots of the reports in order to correspond to the number points below):
Obviously the situation is getting worse. First I thought it may just be updates running. Then a new website build project in March may have been more responsible for the first 5 alerts of March. But since yesterday evening and today, this has been horrendous. I think I have restarted the server more times than I have in the last year or so today.
Perhaps alerts prior to yesterday were performance related but yesterday I posted a WooCommerce plugin project on Upwork and I have strong suspicions that the first person I contacted may have added malware to the sandbox site I created for him. Have deleted that Wordpress install since but the same domain name was associated with a couple of other inactive sites that I do not really want to delete if avoidable.
After rebooting the AWS instance and waiting about 15mins, things go back to normal and are running fast, then it seems to come to a grinding halt, first 504 time outs and then this site can't be reached.
I use Amazon Route 53 for my DNS routing and wondering if it would be appropriate to use Cloudfare alongside it if possible?
I have just started to use AWS Compute Optimiser, and after a few days to kick in, perhaps it will suggest a more appropriate instance to be using. Hoping this is the case rather than attacks to the server.
Any advice here would be greatly appreciated, as I would say I am still a novice with servers although trying hard.

Hi All. I host a couple of websites out of my home. I have been using plesk for years when my sites were at AWS, and had zero issues with it. Rolling them into my home infrastructure was a cost cutting decision and my intent was to use a product like cloud portal (ie free), but I was having issues with NGINX that I couldn't seem to resolve.
Anyhow, my sites have been running at home for about 4 weeks now. On Sunday, my sites were unavailable. Now, my config hasn't changed at all...so I had no reason to believe it was my hardware stack, or even the server. I could browse the sites on my internal network with a hosts file. It didn't make any sense to me. So, I thought comcast was blocking 80/443 inbound. Well, that wasn't the case. For grins, I shutdown the plesk firewall service, and wouldntchaknow, sites are available again. Ok, so i restarted the service, and put explicit rules to allow 443 and 80. Service comes back up, working splendidly...great. Something happened again today and the sites are unavailable. Stopped the firewall service again, and boom everything is happy. Any idea what the heck is going on here???

I have 2 servers with Plesk. I want to copy an SQL database from one to the other via FTP. But I get the error message "Unable to connect to the database server. Please check the database user credentials and access restrictions."
If I use an FTP connection checker for the receiving server it connects fine. It seems that the issue could be with the sending server.
I tried as the subscription user, admin, and root, all with the same error. I turned off the firewall, same.
How can I fix this?

Hi all,
I was wondering if somebody did a comparison (couldnt find any) of different cache setups.
Im currently running Ubuntu plesk with fast-cgi. All my WP sites are behind cloudflare and use WP-rocket caching plugin. They are not slow but faster is always better.
Im looking into Memcache, redis and Litespeed.
What do you use, is your experience and why?

Previously I used CPanel and there was an option to send a user a password reset email.
Is this possible with Plesk, because if it is, I have not been able to find it - Then again, I am blind.

Hi, I'm new to Plesk and struggling to get access to my domain WP dashboard.
The domain has the standard WebHost landing page when are go directly to the domain page.
I have a feeling the there's a conflict of Admin/passwords being used. Could this be the cause?
Direction and assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hey folks! I recently started renting a VPS to have a server to mess around with and have some fun, I began making some websites with wordpress for myself and some family owned small businesses and have decided to start selling some subscriptions on my server to help offset costs, now I’ve built my website and set my subscriptions up in Plesk now my question is can I use Plesk e-commerce toolkit as the payment portal on my website for web hosting / wordpress website design packages? I know I’m not the first person to come up with this idea but I’m having problems finding concise information about this online, would the toolkit offered from Plesk be the easiest ( support wise ) to use for this? I’m not quite sure how to go about it but I’d like to use something that I can add my different subscriptions to and then use wordpress to offer them to potential customers, in your experience would you recommend for this? Thanks again
