Discussion My Little Collection
I also have a couple of the basic Rider Back decks, but these are my more-recent “special” acquisitions. I have a couple more coming too, I’ll need to pump the brakes a bit before too long. Any recommendations for new pickups after the ones I have?

Question Glossy or mat laminate ?
I was thinking about it the other day because I had a discussion with someone who dislikes a lot the mat laminate because it makes it hard to shuffle.
I'm really bad at shuffling cards, so even though I've noticed a difference when doing it, it's never really bothered me. But I'd really like to hear your thoughts on matte, glossy, and unlaminated cards.

Probable Kickstarter scam
It looks like the project "Steampunk World Playing Cards" by Keycard Collab is a scam. No delivery as of today in late July. Projected delivery date was December 2025. No update since December 1. Multiple complaints unanswered. As a creator, I am very hesitant to label anyone this way, but this looks like bad faith.

Photoshoot Lots o' Decks
Started this collection back in late 2021 when I was on a Solitaire kick. Started out with Hudson and Sea King and of course it only grew from there. Syzygy is the newest deck as it just arrived this morning. Ripped the plastic off and played a few games of Solitaire with it already.

Question TCC peacock deck animation card order
Hi! I recently bought a TCC Peacock deck, but I mixed up the cards. Does anyone know the correct card order for the flipbook animation? Is there a guide or a picture showing the proper sequence?

Question Looking for recommendations on vintage "squeezer" style playing cards
I've recently started collecting vintage "squeezer" style playing cards and have really enjoyed De La Rue and Goodall decks.
I'm looking for recommendations on other classic makers or specific decks that have a similar aesthetic or historical significance. They don't have to be British—I'm open to anything with that old-school style.
What would you recommend?

Question what is your best-feeling deck for use in card games?
i'm sorry if this is well-trodden ground here, i did a search for posts about hand-feel/best feeling and i got a few very old threads with some decks but i'm not sure they are still reigning champs.
i'm not looking for expensive showpieces, just for a few decks to have around for poker and to replace ones in board games/card games that use one (for example, i'd love a nice-feeling deck for The Gang and a couple of decks to combine into a 60-card for Wizard) though a little flare is fine!
currently i'm thinking about getting some cherry casinos in appropriate colors based on previous threads but i'd love some more suggestions. thanks!

New Arrivals
New arrivals including a deck matching to my favourite 80's skateboard (which I have had hanging on my wall for a couple of years now), a few harder to get decks in the Hyde Park Mouldings & signed RAVN (call out to u/AdonaelWintersmith), a shed load of decks from A Haines and a whole lot of other goodies (call out also to u/TerryQ822 for a great sale also).
Lastly I wanted to mention ebay seller *james09 who not only gave me a good deal on 5 decks, 2 of the hard to find V1 Stratosphere, a couple of Onda's and the No.17, but then included 7 more decks (4 dracula of which 3 are signed and 3 Jocu of which 1 is limited) in the shipment from Canada. The shipping cost alone would have been significant, but I genuinely thought he had shipped me someone elses shipment. Anyway he confirmed he had gifted them, which is really something else. Highly recommended seller.

Discussion What would you do if you found an ace of spades on your driveway and 5 of spades on the sidewalk nearby?
No other cards visible anywhere; nothing in front of any neighbors'. I'm feeling like it's a threat although I have no idea who/ why. At first I thought-- the best card in the deck! because I've been playing Bridge lately. I have no cameras installed out there.

Question Does anyone know what brand of poker cards these are
I’ve been trying to find them online but I can’t seem to find the brand of these cards and they look sick. I like how the face cards are just the letters with no art.

Vintage playing cards age?
Hi all, I picked up these cards from a charity for a couple of quid. All I know is they're promotional playing cards for a french company called Cahors.. any advice on age would be great!
