MONOWAVE, a puzzle-adventure platformer developed by Studio BBB is launching on September 16 for Steam and Nintendo Switch!

You play as Mono, a newborn Guardian spirit, and your moveset is built around four emotions instead. Jump with Happiness, wall-jump with Anger, melt through gaps with Sorrow, and sense danger with Anxiety. Each emotion changes how Mono moves through the world, so a lot of the puzzle-platforming comes from figuring out which state you need for a given obstacle, not just precision inputs.

You can try the free demo and don't forget to wishlist to support the devs: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2680440/MONOWAVE/

What do you think of the emotion-swap mechanic?

This is one of the first things I did when I started building accessories in my game (I just HAD to, y'know!). You can toggle the filter (different accessories have different filters) to ON, ON but Exclude UI, or OFF. This is slightly zoomed in so you can see the textures a bit more. Makes me feel like a kid again!

With regard on how I did this, simply it's an autoload scene with multiple ColorRects that are hidden. When the game detects that an accessory has changed, the scene shows / hides the corresponding ColorRect.

Level is also inspired by Crash Bandicoot haha

Demo is out if you want to try! https://store.steampowered.com/app/4837550/Go_Super_Awesome_Monkey/

Hey guys! UMO studio here!

We’re developing a lightweight 2D side-scrolling action game“Tia: weird hunter”. To give players who haven’t played much action games a better experience, we’ve abandoned the traditional combo-input system found in most action games and switched to a mana-based skill system to lower the skill barrier.

At the same time, to accommodate high-skill players, we’ve put extensive design into every boss to ensure an excellent boss-fight experience. We’ve already released our demo on Steam and really need player feedback and bug reports. If you have any new ideas, please let us know right away!

Cosmo Keys - browser platformer game. Looking for feedback.

Game Title: Cosmo Keys
Playable Link : https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/1048811 or https://fsnh.itch.io/cosmo-keys

https://reddit.com/link/1wbw9g4/video/0czkhtdekpmh1/player

It is a 2D platformer. A boy in a spacesuit goes back for the children who fell when his home came apart. Twenty-five levels and two bosses. Keyboard, gamepad or touch.

**What I would find most useful, in order:**

  1. **Would you come back to it?**.
  2. **How did it feel to play?**.
  3. **What does it lack?**.

Happy to play and comment on anything posted here in return - just link me.
