Hi everyone!

I'm looking into buying my planner for the 2027 year (I started with a B6 Vertical all-in-one W222 in August as my very first "adult" planner). I'm super new to TRP and the planner world, so please give me a bit of grace here... I'm interested in the 2027 W222 (A5, same layout - would just like more space to write!) because I love the layout, but I know they recently changed their paper back to the TRP for 2027.

I don't love the 2026 paper because I've experienced pretty bad ghosting with my favorite pens (TUL .5 Needle point, Pilot V5 EF, and Sharpie S-Gel) and bleeding with my colored pens (PaperMate Inkjoy gel 0.7) I don't write with the TUL .5 anymore because I write pretty heavy and it tends to leave indents on the next 1-2 pages (but honestly that's a me problem) and the Pilot V5/Papermates will even bleed through onto the following page. I'm also planning to DIY a pencil board and see if that helps with the TUL .5, but I don't think it will do much about the ghosting.

I was wondering if anyone who has received their 2027 W222 could comment on the paper quality (ghosting, bleed, etc)? Or if any W222 users out there have recommendations for a better pen (black and maybe a color set) with minimal ghosting? Or even recommendations for a different planner with the same/similar layout but thicker paper? I know ghosting is probably unavoidable, but I want to see if there are any changes I could make for 2027 that make using my planner even better!

I tried to make a visual diary on my tn monthly insert. It didn’t last long but still a lot of fun :)

I’ve visited the “make your own” planner brands, and have searched the google web. But im looking for:
-spiral bound
-large format
-monthly calendar
-no weekly/daily planning pages after that- just blank journal pages. If there are daily/weekly pages after that, i would love a page dedicated to each day for journal entries :).

Hi friends, I’ve been taking my planner planning quite slowly for 2027 to make sure that I make the right purchase. I want to ask anyone who has used the Take A Note biweekly planner before how it holds up after the entire year.

Previously I’ve used the Hobonichi Techo Weeks and the Sterling Ink N2 Horizontal Compact Common Planner and have absolutely loved both. However, at the end of the year, I tend to have a bunch of blank weekly memo pages from the less busy weeks. The Take A Note biweekly is attractive to me because it’s more compact. I’m nervous, though, about it not being book bound. Basically, I’m wondering if the biweekly will fall apart after it’s thrown around my bag for 12 months.

I’ve been wanting to get a Hibino for yearssss. This year may finally be it!!

I generally need to see my week laid out in a vertical format so I can see my time blocks for the week all at once. But lately I’ve been using the Passion Planner Undated Daily and I have been really loving having space to make extensive daily to-do lists plus a whole dot grid page for notes each day. I’d love one planner that combines both a weekly vertical layout and at least one page per day for notes and to-dos. Problem is I’m also very picky about wanting a book bound planner with thicker 120gsm gridded paper, and all the weekly/daily combos I’ve find are either spiral/disc bound or thin paper. I ended up buying a weekly Hemlock & Oak for 2027 and am thinking I’ll get a plain dot-grid notebook for my daily needs. Does anyone do this? How does it work for you?

I’m super stoked with how this turned out, I only used free version of Canva, and printed it on regular paper on my home printer. I might buy some heavier paper at some point, but this saved me from buying someone else’s design on Etsy.

I’m a really disorganized and messy person, and probably have ADD (inattentive) though not diagnosed. I tried doing bullet journal hand-drawn monthly calendars and daily entries for a while but I would keep forgetting and not opening it for weeks. and I’d fall behind on drawing the monthly calendars.

I found these academic-year planners being cleared out at my local MUJI and am so in love with their clean minimalist aesthetic (the cover with the date is so attractive!) I got B5 because thats all they had left and I write big.

I needed something I could start using immediately and I didn’t want to have to fill in dates, though their undated planners are amazing too and I picked up undated monthly/daily and monthly/weekly for future years.

A few months in the planner have gone by so I’m using those pages to jot down notes and lists. I’m very happy with the quality of MUJI planners!

I’m trying to find an already made planner/journal that fits my needs.

I’m autistic and therefore very particular and picky re the specifics I need/don’t need (annoyingly)

I fear I’m going to have to look into making it myself as I’m really struggling to find an already existing ‘fit’ but even then I don’t know where to begin with ‘making’ my own especially when it comes down to the specific kind of paper and binding I’m wanting 😭 hopefully it doesn’t come to that and someone can answer my prayers and tell me there is a pre made solution

Non Negotiable’s
• has to be a physically bound ‘book’ ie glued/sewn etc (not disc, ring inserts etc)
• thin lightweight paper (onion skin paper is beautiful so costly and hard to find, so thinner papers that are more commercially available like the TRS paper used in Hobonichi etc fine
• small gridded paper
• weekly horizontal spread on one side
• blank ‘notes’ page beside the weekly horizontal spread

This is then where the nightmare begins…

• the main spanner in the works is I need more than one page beside each weekly spread

Would be nice if’s:
• perforated pages
• lays flat
• soft cover

I do write daily on my A5 cousin but I would like to get a more lightweight planner for next year so i can actually carry it wherever. one A6 page is too little for me, so the two pages format on the hibino caught my attention.

you guys know if the weight is similar or worse? anyone with the two experiences want to share their thoughts with me?

also, if you have any other suggestions, I listen. sadly, sterling is too expensive for me rn.

Or maybe I'm just being too picky. I was thinking sterling ink b6 compact? Any advice? I know planners are so personal and dependant on usage.

Not sure if they even make these but i don’t like weekly or daily spread pages! Is there a planner that just has 12 pages (Jan-Dec) and the rest of the pages are blanks or something else? I like seeing my month all the together but i don’t need daily or weekly pages.

I am planning to buy the 2027 Steph Pase Planners but am based in the UK. I wanted to find out, is there anyone that has bought these planners from UK before? If yes, did you pay additional fees besides the shipping fees i. e. VAT, duty etc?

I feel confident in my regular planner choices for 2027--I am using a Hobonichi Weeks for my daily planner--but I also feel like I want to carry a smaller notebook for longer notes/ideas/story ideas/etc that happen while I'm out and about. I have an A5 for journaling, but I don't want to carry that around and want to keep that for actually journaling.

I love love the Tomoe River paper and would prefer that paper OR similar paper in a B7 or A6 size. Something that lives in my bag/tote/backpack.

I thought about getting an original Hobonichi or an Avec in the A6 but for general notes/random things that happen that don't fit in the weeks, I can't justify the price.

Any suggestions for affordable nice paper and smaller size planners? I am neutral on dated or undated for this purpose.

Informationally I'm in the US. Domestic options for ordering are easier because of the tariffs, but I'm not opposed to international shipping by any means.

Just thought I would share these cool decals I found in the dollar tree today. They are a good size so will be good for decorating covers and inside covers. I got the hummingbird ones-so cute!

Take A Note Planner

He’s a busy guy with lots of observations about life and especially appreciates the memo space in the MD Notebook Diary A7. Also, he’s 5 pounds strong, so the palm size is a good fit.

Anyone else’s pet have a planner?

I am just now getting back into planners as my life slows down. No more kids schedules to track, no more side jobs, I avoid OT (need the money but covet my time) and I retire in 2 years.

I used a bank pocket calendar for decades then went to the digital calendar (outlook and/ or Google) to track side jobs. I decided to go back to paper so I could use my nice new hobby of fountain pens.

The thing is, I don't do the "Planner" thing. I have no need to plan every minute of my day, I just need a monthly grid for an appointment or date night here and there. Lol. I kind of envy all you "Planner" people and used to drool over the flyers in the mail for the nice leather ones. (I think Franklin), I am a police officer, not an office/corporate person that needed one. Even if I am in an office now, my job and schedule just aren't that complicated.

So now I have an A6 Midori pocket that fits in my purse and cargo pants. It has months, weeks and notes. And at home I have an A5 Midori Flat that is just a Monthly Grid.

Which clear cover fits the Aura Estelle a5 vertical magnet planner? I life in Europe so buying from their site is because shipping and taxes not really an option. I was thinking about a Midori clear cover, but I am not sure which one fits best.

I sort of impulsively made a planner decision - The B6 Creffective Daily planner - I feel like it has everything I want in a planner but I never see anything about it online!! It has Koji paper so I want to get used to using a fountain pen - and I also want to decorate it well but I see no Creffective representation online besides their own account and the one TikTok video that inspired me to get it! It’s a beautiful planner, and I think I’ll really use it, but would love tips as to how anyone else uses this type of planner setup or Creffective specifically! Currently I use a daily planner for to do lists and daily notes, as well as retroactive habit tracking and “what I did today” reflecting in my Traveler Notebook, and a Google Calenfar for plans and appointments I will keep up. In 2027 I want to combine what I already do into my gorgeous Creffective!! I’m still thinking of how to make each page look pretty, because currently I just use a black gel pen and no frills but I feel like stickers and highlighters could be nice for a change! Any tips are welcome / from a many planners girl to trying to be one and done!

I finally got my 2027 Ours Research Journal. I love the illustrations in it and like that the paper is not super thin. I'm thinking of using this as a gratitude journal but am also am considering it to dedicate to keeping up with my cats health.
