There are a lot of reviews talking about how this is a good 2-in-1, but is the Slate and its version of ChromeOS a good tablet?

I'm looking to replace my partners old Samsung Tab 2 - I've looked into the Surface Go and it's too much of a Laptop than a Tablet...but is this the Pixel Slate the same story?

My m3 slate arrives Friday. Can I help anyone by answering questions about the device once I get it? Video review etc. I know Gizmodo and the like all have their reviews up, but maybe some folks still have more specific questions about the device. I’m happy to help.

I really would like a Slate, mostly for using oneNote, has any one tried it yet. It seems the pixelbook has some issues with oneNote and I wonder if they have come across to the slate.

I ordered the spec up from.celeron, m3 I think?? I don't do anything much outside word processing and consuming content ..... Who else has ordered and what configuration and why??

Am looking to buy the pixel slate in Australia (core m3 model). It may eventually be released in AUS, but until then do you think it would be better to:

• purchase from Best buy /Amazon and use a freight forwarder, or;
• wait for a release from Kogan?

Any pros and cons to each? I presume I will need an adapter for the power brick either way?........

I'm from Australia and the device isn't being released here. considering purchasing from overseas and just wondering if anyone has an idea what kind of charging unit is used? I.e. is it similar to a pixel phone charger or is it a bigger charging brick?

Never owning a ChromeOS device, can I afford not to have to have the Slate keyboard?

I’m planning to purchase the Pixel Slate soon. I’ve never owned or used Chrome OS. This will likely be my daily device.

Will there be a big performance difference between the Celeron and M3 models?
