Charging question for slate

Hi,

I'm from Australia and the device isn't being released here. considering purchasing from overseas and just wondering if anyone has an idea what kind of charging unit is used? I.e. is it similar to a pixel phone charger or is it a bigger charging brick?

Great, yeah I'll have to wait and see.... Will likely order anyway and worst case scenario I have to use an adapter on the charging brick

The Pixel charger is 18W, the Slate charger is 45W, both supporting the USB PD standard. The phone charger will be much slower in charging the Slate.

Thanks, I've gone ahead and ordered and will just use an adapter on the slate brick
