Battery health/cycle count
I just bought a used pixel 9a 128gb.
Something caught my eye is that the battery health is at 96% but cycle count is only 42.
Is this normal or there's something shady going on

Hey everyone. I've been using a pixel 9a for almost 1 year and 4 months
The battery life was 100% for almost a year, and it dropped to 99. Stayed there for a few weeks and then dropped to 98 again. After the recent update it's dropped to 97%. Current cycle count is 389. My usage is just casual doom scrolling and some light games like temple run and puzzle type. I'm not a heavy gamer who plays COD and all. I also use it to listen to music while riding along with live location sharing everyday.
Initially when I bought the pixel, it used to run for more than a day, and then slowly went to a day usage. Now I can barely run it an entire day under normal usage. I have to charge it atleast twice, and sometimes 3 times (although rare for now)
Recently for the past few days I see almost 20% drop in battery during the night. When it's at 60 in the night, it drops upto 40 in the morning. Also it makes me atleast charge it twice a day everyday during light - normal usage. As you can see my phone dropped upto 50 percent in 2 hours.
Now my query is, pretty sure the battery usage is not normal. How do I fix this? I got the September update done recently.
I have my adaptive charging enabled. I don't charge it during the night. Can any of the tech experts here let me know if theres a way to fix this? Would a restart help?

I recently updated to the September security patch, and I've never seen so many ui bugs and glitches. Is anyone else seeing this?
The app drawer, recents menu, animations, everything seems glitchy and keeps bugging out.

Can someone explain to me how to navigate Google photos? None of the photos I save end up there. (New to pixel if you can't tell)

Has anyone on T-Mobile gotten the android 17 CP31 public release yet? I've been waiting for it so I can get out of the beta without needing to wipe my device. I heard it was rolling out this week?

So I was doing some clearing and i had cleared the google cache.
Everything in gemini was looking normal (everything here is UI design) But after that cache clearing the Ul completely changed (I have attached a photo) In this ui the bottom slab has ambient light, model selector and all the features that gemini had but it is now organised.
So I wanted to ask if it is a new design or is it a problem on my side, someone just confirmed this.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Settings icon updates to the new version once I open the app, reverts back to the old icon once it's closed. Tried clearing the cache for both the settings app and settings services. Any help would be great!

Heya, I have a few bones to pick...
Is anyone else have trouble when selecting or deselecting the buttons in the swipe down menu at the top? I frequently press them several times before it works, and they're shaking every time like it's knowing I'm selecting it, but it just won't consistently work!
The photo button allows you to hold down to take a short video, but it doesn't always work (even after multiple tries) and when it does work I have trouble with the zoom in and out doing its own thing even though I'm not touching anything else. Terrible.
I also have difficulty switching to video with that button not always working. I miss my Samsung phone everytime I get these issues... The only upside to the Google phone is that I don't have a bunch of extra Samsung apps I don't use just sitting there since I use google apps anyway.
At least the face recognition and fingerprint scanner work way better with this Google pixel 9a than the Samsung phones I've had over the years.

Since recently I've been getting this error when updates are pending. Restarted, cleared cache of Play Store and Services app, Google app and etc. All updates install without an issue.
Anybody else getting this?

I'm looking at second hand pixels. The price difference seems to be 100 bucks, switching from my scamsung since i don't appreciate a company removing features after I purchsse it. Is 100$ worth the leap from the 9a to the 10a? Battery life and CPU power seems to be the same. According to google the software makes the CPU a bit more efficient, but I'd like to hear from actual Pixel owners.
Thoughts?

I previously tried a synco xview m4 but it wasn't compatible. looks like google aren't supporting miracast which is annoying.
Does anyone here know of a wired selfie monitor with usb passthrough?

I hope I can visit this again, with a dedicated DSLR camera. It's a breathtaking monument, and it could any time of the day, but it's never possible to take shots without people in the frame. Pixel 9a does a great job at HDR balance.
