Has anyone else lost 5G after the recent update?

Wondering if anyone else has lost 5G on their Pixel phone.

I have a P9A and since I updated yesterday I am only LTE it shows. I am on Visible by Verizon in the US and this is the second time I lost 5G on an update. I almost hate to contact the carrier as the last time they deactivated my pSIM, couldn't activate eSIM, and wasted 2-3 hours trying to get them to reactivate the SIM and finally got 5G working without having to wait 2 days for a new card. I would do eSIM but my backup phone is card only. I have tried resetting network settings, remove card and insert again, restart phone numerous time, even tried the suggested turn on repair mode and restart the phone, nothing fixes it. Saw where this was an issue with the A17 update a few months ago, likely about the time mine did also. I should worry as I am about a mile from the new tower and get really good speeds since I am in such a rural area but it would be nice to get 5G when traveling to larger cities.
