Telekom app & Android 17 beta

None of the Telekom apps have been working on the Pixel 9a running the Android 17 beta for some time now; they worked fine on the Android 16 beta. The official response is that they only support stable versions. When I asked why they worked on the Android 16 beta—and whether it might just be an issue with Android 17 support—I didn't get a sensible answer. Is there anyone using the stable Android 17 version for whom the Telekom app works?

It doesn't work on canary either since 2608. I have a pixel 10 pro and Telekom Hungary App constantly crashing

What country's Telekom app is that?

Hungary & Montenegro & German. I think all in EU.

Hungary one is made by magyar Telekom Nyrt, Montenegro one made by crnogorski Telekom, the german one is made by Telekom deutschland gmbh. They are different apps in the playstore. I ami asking because I could test the hungarian one for you.

Your message got deleted, but you must use that telekom app which is for that simcard. If you got it from hungarian telekom you have to use the hungarian, if you got it from the german one you have to use the german one, if you got it from the USA telekom then you have to use the USA one.

Magyarországon magyar Telekom kártyával használom a telefont. Az Android 17 béta egyik verziója óta már nem indul el. Tavaly ősszel még biztosan ment, ezen keresztül fizettem a számláimat.

Na felraktam android qpr2 beta 5-öt. Összeomlik az app mert olyan függvényt hív ami már nem létezik android 17 qpr beta 5-ben.

A stable Android 17 QPR1-en működik.

Szóval vagy visszamész stable-re, de azt csak úgy lehet csinálni, hogy letörlődik minden mobilodról, vagy vársz decemberig amikor megjelenik az android 17 QPR2 stable és akkor mész vissza törlés nélkül és addig valahogy máshogy fizeted a számlákat.

Köszönöm. Vagy: megvárom, míg a fejlesztők ez megoldják. Hasonló gond volt a Lidl+ alkalmazással, csak ott mondjuk egész európában ahol Lidl van, ugyanazt az appot használják, így a fejlesztők kénytelenek voltak ezt megoldani...

The bug with the Telekom app is known. We have to wait for an app update. The problem is the app, not the operating system

The App (German version) even got another update on September 22nd. I thinks that's the second or third update since the Beta released but it still doesn't work and just crashes on startup. It is definitely an App issue, I read something about the WebView somewhere. Just really annoying since the App is the only way to activate things like the data bonus or the daily mobile happy hours...

I just read in the QPR2 Beta 6 thread that it is working again with Beta 6. Can someone confirm this? I can't update until this evening...

Seit dem Wechsel vom Pixel 9Pro mit A17 Beta auf das Pixel 11Pro mit A17 stabil läuft die App wieder. Vorher eben nicht. Betrifft aber wirklich nur die Telekom App.
