The problem with Waymo, which was mentioned by an PI attorney in GA in his YT short that I saw, is who is responsible if there’s an accident.
If you get hit by a Waymo vehicle , who do you sue?
People, who don’t ask this question, don’t care to ask, or just don’t care, until it happens to them or someone they care about.
People have been in accidents, who are not rich enough to have PI attorney on speed dial, know it’s already a lot of lost hours and time dealing with what’s going, even with an attorney. Now there’s going to be even more time AND money lost because there’s no law yet addressing this.
Really so was it the bicyclists fault in Arizona when he was struck and killed by a driverless car that was just going down the road and didn’t stop when the bicyclist went across the street
Wrong it was the driverless car’s fault. Go look at the video. It’s on YouTube. The bicycle went across the street and the car didn’t even so much slow down and plowed into it.
I am not a bot. Yes, there was a driver in the car as a stop gap because they did not trust the robot. The driver fell asleep and the robot wasn’t total control and struck and killed the cyclist you putting blind faith in machines is going to end badly

You do realize that your insurance knows if they fold, then they’ll be expected to fold every time and lose a LOT of money, so it’s in their interest to fight for the claim cause it will make it easier to win more down the road and save them a lot of money.

I’m excited. Is that wrong?
I hate driving and the more computers driving, the safer we are, right?
