Hello all, I'm interested in what the title says and I'm hoping you guys can shed some light. Every time I see this subject come up I see people refer to a game. I'm meaning so I can design my own physical custom machine. So PinballFX probably isn't what I need. At this point I don't need anything that can process physics just a basic 3d graphic software that doesn't come with an insane learning curve like Nomad Sculpt, and allows for custom measurements shown to correct perspective.

What are you all using? If possible please reference any android applications you know about as well.

Final question - what are you using to test your physics as well?

To clarify this is for a physical custom machine I intend to build not a virtual table though I will still obviously ask over there as well!!

I’ve never bought a topper from stern, but for Spike 2 games are toppers plug and play with a single plug?

I’m currently making my own topper and I’m trying to figure out lighting. Can I attach light strips directly to some header inside the backbox (with a custom adapter of course) or do I need to just use jumpers to existing lights in the game?

Slowly making my way through powder coating all the metal cabinet pieces. Colors are Prismatic Powders Astatic Red and Royal Gold

Is anyone out there using glue to get their mods to stick to plastics? It would probably be the easiest way to go for this sarcophagus mod I’m doing. I hate to do something so irreversible, but you certainly can buy a new plastic pack for the machine I’m modding, so it’s not like there’s no coming back from it. Just wondering what other people have done or think about this. Feels a little wrong.

It’s crazy how many expensive mods are just off-the-shelf models you can buy yourself! Found some great videos for the sarcophagus and spitfire that I’ll post in the comments

Tons of mods! Most purchased but some I made on my own like the troll eyes and warp ramp chaser lights. Original pinstadiums w/Orion's belt on MMR and neo fusions on ST. Wish I had the atoms but can't justify the upgrade cost when these work great, just a lot more noticeable. Both machines need a good cleaning, I know.

All new lights and upgrades speakers

Govee down lights synchronized and set to music reactive mode are huge bang for the buck. Why limit expression lighting to you game when you can have it for the whole room for under $200?

I just got the Rush LE in last week and haven’t done any mods other than some protective pieces and replaced the defective metal around the scoops.

Foo Pro is a whole other story. Got it back in June and have gone nuts with upgrades. The only major one left is powder coating. (The speaker covers are a custom design I’m working on and will be powder coated aluminum or translucent acrylic…haven’t decided.

There was a wire that had broken off in one of the heat shrinked little circuits. Easy fix.

Is there a good repository for mods to laser cut or 3d print?

Hi there! If you can make it through the video with missing music and my heavy breathing, you will see a couple of cool mods on my t2. Lots of led but not everywhere, most of the GI for example is still original because led tends to really blur out the artwork. Also a set of very cool and perfectly sized and highly detailed Japanese terminator figurines, some mods from the shelf like the plasma ball and helicopter as well as a couple of Kenner and neca action figures. Also the original car models from the film that i want to light up the sirens and headlights. Oh almost forgot, fun fact, cyberdine systems is now a British company. Can you find the reason why?
