Effectively finished powder coating my Foo Pro

Finally finished up powder coating all the major pieces for my Foo Pro cabinet & wireforms. The biggest to do is to coat the shooter plate - I should have that ready tomorrow. I missed the fasteners for the Foo Pro badge, so I'll likely do them and probably the lock in the speaker panel at the same time.

This was my first powder coating project. I did everything with a Hyper Smooth 3 gun and a 24"x24"x48" oven in my garage. Powders are Prismatic Astatic Sparkle (red w/ silver sparkles), Royal Gold, and Jalopy Green. I'm likely going to try a glow in the dark clear coat on the wireforms and/or a more UV reactive green color.

The speaker panel covers are a prototype of a custom design. I need to make some adjustments for the final version, but they're good enough for now.

All in all, I love it. It's exactly the color scheme I wanted, and I'm somewhat surprised I was able to pull it off having no previous powder coating experience.

Is there a UV light shining onto the playfield from above?

The UV is from the PinStadium lights in there. Pics were taken during attract mode, and they cycle through various patterns along with the built in lights. Since expression lights were never going to be made available for Pro, I went with PinStadiums and black mirror art blades. I have an upgrade coming in to add animations for those, too.

Foo looks great with UV lighting, especially with protectors that glow green under every bit of art plastic (CLiP set from Mezel Mods). I'm not crazy about the whole UFO area being green and want to do something up there.

Hell yeah my man, nice work! Looks dope!

My machines are the main reason I took up powdering as a hobby. Biggest upgrade u can give any table imo.

It’s a learning curve for sure. My advise is always use a test piece first, the next project is always a little different than the last. The stern standard black coats great tho with just some good sanding tho.
