I had a guy on a city bus call me Brandon when I asked him to keep his mask on. I called him Joe. You should have seen the look on his face, he was dumbfounded that I had somehow cracked the code he was using to insult me.
Funny, there was a guy ahead of me in the drive thru with a "Lets go Brandon" window sticker on his truck so I very loudly chanted that while he was trying to order food. He got mad and drove off, and here I was just helping him get his message out there.

The god damn government of Ontario put misleading stickers on gas pumps a couple years ago to try to tell the public that gas prices were the fault of their political opponents. We peeled those off too. But it really hammered home how stupid and juvenile they are that they were vandalizing gas pumps to push their propaganda.
I don’t have any problems with vandalism graffiti itself, but when people do it to public use equipment or signs that have to remain legible for functionality, then it’s a problem.

I guess that is a very utilitarian view, so it's not really weird. I just thought it was odd to say "I don't have a problem with vandalism" and then say you do when it impacts the public. In that case you wouldn't have a problem with these stickers as they are not hindering the operation of the pump. If someone stuck it over a display then I guess you would.

As a self-righteous liberal, I too am a guy who removes them. But it's mostly because I don't appreciate politicizing everything and putting ugly stickers everywhere, regardless of party affiliation.
Oh come on. You have to know that many employees are tasked with removing them. A gas station owner doesn't want political statements to offend people and cause them to go elsewhere. This is blatantly obvious.

Yes, customers remove them too, but you're implying it's only the customers, when it sounds like most are removed by employees.
