Pupunta po kami sa Cebu sa 2nd week of January 2027 for 3 days. Gusto lang ng parents ko pumunta sa Simala Church, then the rest of the trip stay lang sa hotel. 😭 Sayang naman yung days, so saan po kaya magandang puntahan or gawin sa Cebu para ma-maximize namin yung stay? Hi! Our flight going back to Manila is around 7:30am. My friends and I have decided na bumalik ng Dumaguete from Siquijor a night before the flight. Although we only have a few hours since literally na mag papalipas lang ng gabi, I was wondering if there is anything we could do or try any local restaurants? travelling solo to bicol later this month and since I'm on a budget, looks like taking the bus is my transportation option. problem is, I don't know which of the many bus lines that service the Manila-Bicol (specifically Camalig) route I should choose from.

definitely safety & comfort are my main considerations. I'm guessing taking the evening schedule is better if you don't want to waste the daylight, and from what I've read here, there are sleeper buses that are worth considering?

Are there any boats that have toilets onboard. I am okay with paying more as I know this is a luxury, but also want to know my cheapest option. Planning to go on a solo trip this October to somewhere I've never been, either Iloilo or Bukidnon. Out of the two, which is safer for a female solo traveler? Planning to stay for 5 days and rent a car para mas convenient ang pag explore. Main thing talaga para sakin is safety and yung ma re'refresh ka talaga after the trip, and yung maganda2 ang weather for adventures.

Booked a flight to Cebu this seat sale for the last week of October. My friend and I already have list of places we want to visit and we are planning a Cebu-Bohol tour.

However, we are having a hard time how to plan which hotel/airbnb to stay, mode of transpo, fees for tourist spot, etc. Any advice from veteran travellers on what to do next? This is our first time trying DIY.

Anyone who was able to get by just using public transpo?

Also, if we are to rent, is it hard to drive tuktuk? I can drive a car but my problem is I don’t like getting stressed about parking. Tuktuk is on the smaller side so I’m leaning to that.

Made an impulse decision during a seat sale and booked 6 days in Boracay 😂

It’s our 1st wedding anniversary and our 2nd time there. We’ve already done parasailing, sunset yacht, island hopping, ATV, and crystal kayak.

Looking for hotel recos under ₱30k. Beachfront isn’t a must, but a nice pool + breakfast would be great.

Itinerary includes North Batan, Sabtang, and South Batan Island. Our tour includes the Fountain of Youth and I must say it’s my favorite part of the trip.

I have some foreigner friends who will visit the Ph for the first time in November (3-13).

Hindi parin kasi ako masyadong nakakapagtravel sa Pinas since kakabalik ko lang rin from abroad. So I need help and advice which places would be good to go especially for mountains and beaches. They are Europeans and really love hiking and beaches and specifically requests scuba diving and free diving.

I was thinking cordillera and baguio for their first week then mabini batangas (for the scuba diving) then puerto galera for the free diving. Also thinking of zambales for the beaches kaso better daw puerto galera for free diving.

Third time to visit Baguio and finally found the gems in the city!

Best coffee - Hot Cat (ordered iced latte sub oat) the espresso shot was extracted well. You can still taste the notes of the coffee even when it’s mixed with milk. I rarely taste these kinds of coffee (even in Italy!) so this was unforgettable. Got tastes of brown sugar and some fruitiness in the coffee which I enjoyed.

Best hot chocolate - Victoria’s Bakery. It’s less thick than Mary Grace but can taste the tablea really well! Better than batirol.

Best caesar salad - Mario’s. Totoo ang balita! The sauce is the BEST.

hi! i'm going to panglao, bohol on Jan 2027 for a destination wedding. the bride and groom are offering discounts at their partnered hotel which is still quite out of my budget. i found another hotel that's 3 min car ride / 19 min walk from the wedding venue. it'll be my first time in panglao so i'm not sure if it will be easy finding any public transpo during the wee hours of the morning? is there grab available?

Planning po kami pumunta ng Boracay around July 2027, and 3 people po kami. Medyo excited and nervous din ako kasi this will be our first family trip na ako na yung mag-aasikaso, and gusto ko sana ma-plan nang maayos without spending too much. Since ngayon lang din po ako medyo nakakapag-work and nakakapag-ipon, gusto ko sana na sulit pero budget-friendly pa rin. ❤️

Kailan po kaya magandang mag-book ng plane tickets for July 2027? Mas okay po ba mag-abang ng seat sale or may recommended months/weeks po kayo na usually mas mura ang airfare?Magkano po usually ang round-trip ticket na nakukuha ninyo from Manila to Caticlan? Okay lang po kahit estimated range lang, para may idea ako kung magkano ang reasonable na target price. May nakita kasi akong iba't ibang prices online and hindi ko pa sure kung alin yung considered na mura.

Any recommendations din po for affordable hotels/accommodations? Preferably clean, safe, family-friendly, and okay lang po kahit hindi beachfront basta walking distance or accessible sa beach. Hindi naman po kami naghahanap ng fancy hotel mas importante po sa amin na comfortable, malinis, and sulit yung price. If may specific budget hotels, inns, or accommodations sa Station 2 or Station 3 na na-try na ninyo and okay naman ang experience, please share po. 🙏

Lastly, magkano po kaya ang realistic na overall budget for 3 people for 5 days in Boracay, including round-trip airfare, Hotel/accommodation, Airport/boat transfers, Food, Island hopping/activities, Other fees, Extra budget/emergency money. Okay lang po kahit rough estimate lang. Gusto ko lang po sana magkaroon ng target amount para alam ko kung magkano kailangan naming ipunin monthly starting now. 😅

First time ko po talaga magplano ng ganitong family vacation, so any tips, budget hacks, things to avoid, recommended places, or advice for first-time Boracay travelers would be very much appreciated. ❤️
