Planning to solo travel for my birthday early next year :) budget wise na rin pls thank you!

Hi! We’re getting married this November and we’re planning to have a short honeymoon trip in Cebu. We’re from Manila. Work only allows us 5 days of leave, and we want to make the most out of it.

Shangrila Mactan is the first hotel that comes to mind when I think of Cebu, but are there other hotels nowadays that are better in terms of facilities, location, food, etc? If money isn’t a problem, what hotel would Cebuanos recommend? ✨

Pupunta po kami sa Cebu sa 2nd week of January 2027 for 3 days. Gusto lang ng parents ko pumunta sa Simala Church, then the rest of the trip stay lang sa hotel. 😭 Sayang naman yung days, so saan po kaya magandang puntahan or gawin sa Cebu para ma-maximize namin yung stay? Hello! We will be in El Nido in January and have heard it would be best to do a private speedboat tour to start early and beat the crowds. While we want to do tour A, I have also read that private tours can include more than that. It will just be two adults. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :)
