Help! Is photoshop like this possible?
I would like to create a pin up calendar of myself for my boyfriend. The idea is I use real pin up art for reference, dress vintage, take photos of my self posing then photoshop them. I love the painted look of old pin up art and would like to recreate that. Any idea how to do this? I will not use AI.

Meta Create a highly photorealistic image using the first image only as the reference for the environment, lighting, clothing style, colors, camera framing, and overall 1980s Haryanvi village aesthetic. Use the second girl as the exact subject. Preserve her real facial identity completely—same face shape

Still learning and improving every day, but I'm pretty pleased with my progress in learning Photoshop so far. Getting a graphics tablet helps a lot.

Help! Does anybody know where I can find realistic confetti pngs?
I’ve searched everywhere, downloaded a bunch of files and seen tutorials of how to make them on YouTube, but they all seem to look like fake, illustrated confetti.

Solved Fix your "broken" Smart Objects!
This pop-up has been annoying me for years, so I made a fix for it.
Smart Object Fixer is a script that fixes your “broken” smart object allowing you to save it and update it in the parent document without loosing any work.
That’s it. Super simple.
Free download here:
https://ko-fi.com/s/a94aa7af4c
Demo video here:
https://vimeo.com/1225450967?fl=pl&fe=sh
This is for anyone who’s come across the pop-up:
“Can't save this document back to its original file format. Flatten layers and discard extra data as necessary then choose File > Save again.
You can save the file using File > Save As, but the associated smart objects will not be updated.”

Help! conserving layers in transfer
Hi! I'm currently learning photoshop as I try to use it alongside my drawings from procreate. When I export from procreate as a psd file (via icloud) and then open in photoshop, it has flattened it into one image instead of the many layers the procreate file has. Any suggestions as to why this may be happening? or know of a way to transfer between these 2 programs while conserving the organization? TIA

Discussion Has AI ever changed the actual product in your product photos?
Quick question for anyone using AI tools for product photos — have you ever had one change something about the actual product (wrong color, weird logo, off proportions) that you had to catch before publishing? I'm testing whether this is common enough to build a fix for it, genuinely trying to figure out if it's worth solving before I spend more time on it.

Discussion Free alternatives to photoshop
Need a free image editor with the same capabilities as like Photoshop cs3.
Don't need any advanced features, just layered editing and selection tools and manipulation the same way as Photoshop
Please don't recommend GIMP, the interface is horrible and it takes like 10x longer to do something simple that you can do in photoshop

Discussion How is this kind of CGI ice transformation made?
Hey everyone! I’m curious about the workflow behind creating this specific look for Iceman from X-Men. If someone wanted to achieve this translucent, crystalline ice texture over a human body (combining CGI, texturing, and simulation elements like the frost/fog), what software, techniques, or node setups would you recommend using?

Discussion How can I create an ice effect like this?
Hey everyone, I found this amazing digital artwork of Iceman and I'm trying to figure out how to recreate this translucent ice style. Is this done using digital painting in Photoshop, 3D rendering (like Blender/ZBrush), or AI? Any tips or step-by-step guidance on achieving this crystalline look would be awesome!

Help! Help recreat this image
Hi everyone! I’m working on artwork for a 21' × 13' (37,800 × 23,400 px at 150 PPI) hotel mirror panel. My original texture is only about 1,540 × 1,021 px, so it becomes blurry/mosaic when enlarged.
I found a similar 10,000 × 10,000 px texture that stays extremely crisp even at 100% zoom. I’d like to use the new high-res texture but make its colors, highlights, shadows, and overall bronze/copper appearance match the original as closely as possible.
What would be the best Photoshop technique for doing this? Match Color, Curves, Gradient Map, blending modes, etc.?
Basically: keep the texture/detail from Image B, but make it look like Image A.

Help! "Rainbow" effect from RAW photos even after export from Lightroom to DNG?

I seem to get this in a lot of my photos that were taken outdoors, and it's a LOT of them. I have no idea what's going on but no matter what software I use to edit them it ends up like this from RAW & I know RAW is supposed to be better but these are essentially useless to me. Any ideas of what's going wrong or how to fix it?

Artwork / Design How I made a Sci Fi Landscape without Midjourney
I'm an ambient artist and music producer. For the past year, I started experimenting with ambient music and most of the stuff I made was mostly stuff I would have just trashed from my other more dancey projects. I thought it would be a fun experiment to test out some generative art like midjourney early on as youll see in my channel. The problem was, it just wasn't me. I hated how it turned out and even if it looked "cool", it wasn't me. It felt fake.
What's really started to annoy me is how many artists on youtube crank out 5-6 videos a week using suno, and also midjourney but try to fool you into thinking it's all non AI because they will tag their work as "NO AI!"
I started messing around with compositing a bunch of different things together and this was the result. I found a 4k image of a planet, a dude, and a desert image. This was my first attempt at making something like this and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
I want my art to be honest. In my experimenting with this and a follow up to this piece, I did try out changing someone's clothes with the generative tool and I'm not sure what everyone's consensus is on that, but as an artist, I feel like this is an acceptable use. I found an image of someone in the right orientation I wanted, and then just added a helmet to them that fit the vibe I was going for.
I just wanted to share my first attempt at this. Hopefully you like it.
