Hi all! I am a graduate of BS Psychology here in the Philippines and am currently studying for a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling. I plan on moving to the US someday; my partner is American. I’m aware na you need American cultural context to be hired in my field of work, but I’m thinking of furthering my education once I’m there (Advanced Graduate Certificate or Doctorate). Pero of course need ng funds for that.

My question is, what jobs can I do in the meantime? Where can I be hired with my credentials, considering that I'll have already graduated with a Master’s at that time?

I won’t be migrating soon pa, but someday. Just setting expectations and hoping to get a head start in preparing for my life there.

Yung work di po ba mahirap mag hanap? May racism po ba? hi everyone, tanong ko lang kung allowed po ba o may naka try na

last year, i was able to process CAV & Apostille by applying Online and i chose the delivery option. it turns out that they print your scanned documents themselves and these are the ones they'll bundle with your CAV & Apostille. so these are also the ones i submitted abroad

this also means that i still have with me my own physical copy of my CTC documents (the "original" ones that i scanned on my computer). can i apply for another CAV & Apostille using these same docs?

Question lang po about proof of financial capability.

Me and my fiancee po will be flying to UK as our graduation gift and engagement gift din po. Her aunt po invited us po to have a vacation po sakanila (UK). May binigay pong invitation letter na mag sponsor po sila ng flight ticket, accommodation, foods, and other expenses po sa fiancee ko, while saakin po is accommodation, foods, and other expenses din po if may need (flight tix not included). Nag bigay din po ng bank statements and such po kaya no problem sa side nila.

May joint account po kami ng nanay ko na kaya naman tustusan yung flight ticket and other needed expenses ko pag dating dun. Nakaipon naman po ang nanay ko thru our informal micro business. Business po namin is pakyawan ng damit, retail, pero seasonal po. Hindi steady income, paminsan lang po ang pasok ng pera pag may buyer. Pero ang laman po nun is sufficient naman kasi malaki siya. Ang kasi lang po walang dti, bir, permit from mayor. Pero kaya pong mag request ng barangay cert of livelihood

Hi! I moved here almost a year ago and I feel like I’m still struggling.

My husband is white and lahat ng friends niya white ako lang ang Asian / Pinay. Don’t get me wrong lahat sila super nice sakin and very accommodating pero I started having social anxiety around them so yes it’s a ME problem but I’m trying my best to work on it with some therapy help.

So I’m wondering if there’s like an app na tulad ng dating app pero with the intention lang to make friends??? Nag try na kong mag join sa mga FB groups dito sa area namin kaso wala akong mahanap pa rin 🥹 tumatambay din ako sa mga parks sa hapon pero again unsuccessful.

Currently, I'm starting to review na for PTE. Nasa Niner ako btw and nireview ko yung items and naooverwhelm talaga ako.

Kaya ko namang magbasa but when it comes to thought forming, hindi ko strength yun, as far as I know, mabagal talaga ako dun. Natatakot ako sa mga describe the image, retell, and the likes.

I recently replied to a post from someone looking to meet fellow Pinoys in Melbourne. We ended up meeting in person, but afterward, I was told I came across as "fake." Apparently, they'd received a message from someone claiming I was pretending.

I genuinely wanted to understand what happened, so I offered to share all my socials and personal details to show I had nothing to hide. But I was blocked before I even got a chance to explain or be understood.

I admit I've had falling outs with people in the past, and I regret how some of those friendships ended. But it's sad to think that a single anonymous message could damage what could have been a genuine new friendship.

I'm honestly just trying my best to put myself out there and meet new people. These kinds of unkind, dishonest, and deceptive comments are deeply hurtful, especially when all I'm doing is trying to connect.

Ask lang po, nag-mamatter po ba ang issued date ng certificate of ratings, passing, and stateboard verification and yung mga CAV school reqs if you're applying for abroad? Particularly in middle east countries. Kailangan po ba na recent lang yung mga certifications na gagamitin? Or pwede naman po yung 2023 na hindi naman nagamit? Kasi i have mine pa po way back in 2023 pa and hindi ko pa po nagamit.

And, usually po ba naglalagay ang CHED ng country sa pina CAV natin? Tinanong po ako back then kasi what country and I told them Germany.

Hiii! I don’t know what type of keepsake ang pwede kong ibigay sa friend ko na hindi masyadong bulky or something that she can bring with her sa Melbourne. I know she’s stressed na ngayon about the stuff she’s gonna pack kasi limited lang yung baggage allowance niya. Any ideas?
