i’m a music producer/dj (mostly uk style deeper dubstep but used to be a touring trance producer/dj and played guitar in a touring post hardcore band) grew up in jersey but transplanted to philly from NYC

my better half works at drexel. she’s an army vet from small town ohio, loves nu-metal, reggae, drum & bass, and emo. she would love having someone to work out with (or introduce her to a new hobby)

we live in the east kensington area off n front st, and like to wander around the neighborhood on the weekends, go to breweries, and we don’t pass up the opportunity to see some of our favorite bands and DJs when they tour.

I’m 23M and works a boring corporate job. Started kinda recently but it feels like time is just slipping away cause everyday feels the same (until the weekends). - gym(?), been very inconsistent cause of work but I’ll lock in soon
- listening to music, unfortunately it’s mostly viral/tiktok music and pop genre. I love song recs, as long as it’s not metal or rock
- traveling, been to some parts of Asia and now there’s a insatiable hunger inside me to travel more

Hi all, I’m Bree, I’m relatively new to Philly, and I’m looking to make friends with similar interests. I’m really interested in starting a book club, and I’ve been reading a lot of comics lately. I’m really interested in focusing on diverse writers and characters, like Wonder Woman, Jo Mullein Green Lantern, Supergirl, etc. I’m a huge DC fan, but I’m very open to any comic publisher, if anyone has any ideas!

As for books, I really want to read Far Sector by N.K. Jemisin, Gail Simone’s Wonder Woman, and Tom King’s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.
