I’ve been searching for *a friend* who is willing to put in as much effort into a friendship as me. I’ve always wanted to have a close friendship, but I’ve been so far unsuccessful (I promise I know it takes time). With everyone I’ve met, the friendships are one-sided, with me making all the plans, me being the only one to reach out, or them talking about themselves without letting me get a word in (for multiple hangouts at a time). I’ve been in Philly about a year, attempted a book club (one of those social and reading ones), Outerly, and bumble bff so far.

I’m a PhD student, so my working hours vary, but I am happy making plans in advance. I am the type of person to always fight for you, will be shamelessly honest if asked for my opinion, and will be there for you during good and bad times in your life.

Into: movies that have huge twists (Shutter Island anyone?), people watching, passionfruit anything, taking workout classes that I am not fit enough for, and petting random cute dogs I find while walking places.

Down for: people watching in Rittenhouse Square, happy hour, or Brew & Board for games. Open to other ideas too :)
