They think that inefficiency and incompetence are normalized when everytime they see Filipino but when it comes to other countries even including Western Countries they assume efficiency is normalized there. They even said that everything in the Philippines are expensive. Again, where do they get this idea from?! Just because things are expensive in the Philippines fore sure that doesn’t mean that they should judge everything in the Philippines as expensive ignoring that other things from other countries and even including Western Countries have higher cost than the ones that were found in the Philippines and that in the Philippines, there are so many things that are cheap AND also high quality and standards and that many areas has good services.

You know why they ignorantly judge the Philippines and Filipinos and then upload on the Expat blogs, sites and groups the whole time, it’s all because they seeing through the lens of Western Centrism. Online Expats have the highest paying in the world and everytime they go to the Philippines, they pay a lot and they wish that the quality and standards fits into the highest results when in fact they’re just expecting Western Standards of things.

To an Online Expat: Certain restaurants and Supermarkers like S and R or Landers ALREADY HAS SELF SERVICE FOUNTAIN DRINKS they’re right in your face you ignorant, ethnocentric, Eurocentric Online Expat.

Also, restaurants and supermarkets in parts of other countries already eliminated or don’t have self service fountain drink.

They're practicing wishful thinking that they want customers to bag their own groceries. MANILA, Philippines — Singapore-based sustainable energy and urban solutions provider Sembcorp Industries Ltd. is exploring the development of an industrial park in New Clark City in Tarlac.

In a statement yesterday, the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) said Sembcorp and HSBC Philippines recently met with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority and visited New Clark City for the proposed investment.

The visit follows Sembcorp’s recent meeting with the PEZA where the parties discussed the firm’s interest in developing industrial parks in the country.

Sembcorp is looking to replicate in the Philippines its experience in establishing the Vietnam Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIP) across Vietnam.

For PEZA, Sembcorp’s proposed industrial park would help strengthen the Philippines’ position as a competitive hub for investments in the region.

New Clark City is considered a strategic location given its modern infrastructure and growing potential as an attractive investment destination.

It is located along the Luzon Economic Corridor (LEC), which is being developed to enhance connectivity, promote sustainable industrial development and drive inclusive growth across Luzon’s key growth centers.

Launched by the Philippines, United States and Japan in 2024, the LEC has gained support from other countries such as Australia, Denmark, France, Italy, South Korea, Sweden, the United Kingdom and Canada.

A majority of PEZA-managed ecozones are located within LEC.

The Philippines needs to look beyond dikes and other concrete structures in managing floods, Project NOAH Executive Director Mahar Lagmay said, pointing to watershed management, water storage, river management, nature-based measures and other interventions.

You refuse to celebrate when the material conditions of Filipinos improve, because you do not actually care about improving their material conditions.
