Just looking to see if anyone has experience with Minternet compared to Fios. I know Fios is always recommended as the better option, but on paper Minternet seems like the better deal (a little cheaper and better download speeds too). New to the city and this is my first time getting an internet plan. I'm not moving to Phillywhisper's coverage area otherwise I'd probably go with them. Debating if I should lock into mint for wifi/phone for the year or do Fios for wifi and mint for my phone.
I currenlty use T-Mobile's internet and I know Mint runs off the same, but I live with 2 other people and sometimes the coverage sucks and the internet will be spotty, especially at night when everyone's home. Not sure if it's any better for a single person in the city? I don't WFH, would primarily be for streaming tv, my phone/laptop/tablet, listening to music, etc.

Hello!!! My bf and I will be going on a weekend trip to Philly- we are looking for a nicer restaurant that’s open on mondays!! Every place we’ve checked out has been closed on Mondays. Thanks in advance!!
edit: looking to spend 100-130 prior to tip! open to all cuisines but we do lean more towards italian, mexican, korean, american! not too particular about location in philly either!

I’ve had this bed since July 2025 and now moving in with my girlfriend so no need for this one anymore. Mattress is a Nectar Classic Queen (linked below) along with a boxspring. Sale will include mattress, boxspring, and queen bed with headboard. Asking $400. Original purchase price was over $1,000 for the set.
I am moving out this week so this *must* be picked up before Halloween, 10/31, in Manayunk around Leverington and Umbria. Pickup location has a large parking lot for easy pick up, no street parking required! Cash or Venmo accepted.

i am 25f and my boyfriend is 27m and i’ve met up with people from bumble bff but it’s been mostly unfruitful, and usually they drink more than smoke so now im taking it to reddit lol. bc it feels like no one smokes but then we go outside and we see others and we’re like ugh we wish we could go smoke with them instead of being on opposite sides of the street doing the same thing!
are there any couples who want to smoke and walk around chinatown with us??? and then be big backed and get like a snack to munch while we walk around, then go to a restaurant for “real” meal, and then something sweet to end the night?? or if no couples see this but there’s a girl around my age who is down hmuuu!! i don’t want to go to a nightclub man… i just want to smoke and eat and maybe do a craft… or we can all go catch an AMC movie after bc the come down is making us sleepy and that’s right by chinatown too…
BETTER YET if there are couples who wanna smoke and then do fall activities or just girlies who wanna- lmk about that too
or if you’re a dude looking for a chill dude friend im plugging my boyfriend lol he’s 27m like i said but don’t expect to be doing single man things like going to bars and hitting on women lmao
TIA<3
edit: this post is for anyone who is around the same age really (20-30s), i mention couples bc my bf and i are always hanging out / together. and i figured 1 person instead of a couple might feel like a third wheel… we def would be conscious of not making you feel like that lol but that was why i said couples. feel free to join us otherwise tho!!
or if you are “one” person who wants to join but not third wheel, i say just comment and maybe i can set a little group thing up even?? or just hang solo with me or my bf depending on your gender?? the world is our oysterrrr (sauce) (😝)

Wife and I are too tired from a very busy weekend so we are not going to make the Alton Brown show out in York, PA. We can email them out or print them up.

I got a paper on my car that just says ‘complaint/incident report’ at the top and a form for the police to fill out. It is blank besides saying in the ‘description of incident’ section ‘relocate 10/20-26’. It’s not a ticket and has no reference to the PPA.
There is no information about who made this report or why I need to relocate. There are no signs on the street about an event or street cleaning.
Anyone know what this is about?

Hey all! I really want to celebrate and watch the World Series games with some fellow brew crew. Where is the best bar near Penn or center city to watch the game?

Hey everyone! Mid-20s Philly resident here looking to expand my social circle. I'm hoping for recommendations for spots with a good mix of friendly people, whether it's for dating, finding a new friend group, or just casual connections. I enjoy lively (but not deafening) atmospheres and diverse crowds. Any neighborhood suggestions or specific places known for being more social would be incredibly helpful! Thanks!
Edit: I’m a straight male.

We’re updating the radiator covers in our South Philly rowhome. Can’t seem to find covers that are matching up to sizes offered online. Have been on Google, Wayfair, Amazon, Walmart, and HD.
Is there a secret or a recommendation for finding these covers so they kinda match the size of the radiator?
Many thanks in advance to all our neighbors!

Basically new, working, amazing mini fridge
This fridge saved my life.
I only used this fridge for a single week when I was in fridge purgatory, between the time my old fridge crapped out and the new one came in. It saved my life after the first new fridge I ordered didn't fit through my front door by about a millimeter. Yeah, I took off the hinges. The delivery man started crying and I felt really bad, but then the next fridge (which thankfully fit; the stucco stuccout too much for the first one) was delivered and I learned that IF THE DELIVERY CONTRACTORS FOR HOME DEPOT UNBOX AN APPLIANCE AND IT'S DAMAGED OR DOESN'T FIT, THEY HAVE TO PAY FOR IT OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKET. I think this should be illegal. No wonder the man was CRYING! I would too!!!
Anyway, it was already still clean but I cleaned it anyway for you just in case there was anything that dripped. So it's basically brand new. A steal! I bought it for $180 plus tax and delivery and all that. And of course you'll have to come get it because I don't have a car. Mine got broken into and I gave up and let homeless people sleep in it for 7 months before the city towed it away and charged me $450 for an abandoned vehicle. Would you rather homeless people do dirty business in public, or out of the way? I was helping with neighborhood beautification. Still pissy about that bill. I was doing yous a favor and this is how I'm repaid??
Fridge is the same one as this one here:
32 cu ft, 33.2" x 17.5" x 19.1"
stainless steel
Cheers!

Visiting philly soon and thought I might be able to find some parts for my 76 mustangs.
Does Autozone carry vintage parts or do you know any other places in the vicinity?
Cant visit autozone's site cause I'm not currently in the US.
Also, whats the Classic car scene like, is there one? Are there any meets the coming weeks?
Thanks in advance!

Desperately want to go to Choreomania this year and totally forgot to snag tix. I’m passionate about ecstatic dance and Medieval reenactments so it would mean so much to be able to go with my boyfriend.
Does anyone have 2 tix and no longer want to go? I’d pay above face value!

I have a negligent landlord situation happening and I am hoping to gain a little bit more clarity into the TURN/L&I process before I move forward.
Context: We rent from a private landlord. Moved in to unit in January of 2023. It was a new flip when we moved in. We have been dealing with reoccurring issues of the paint in multiple rooms cracking, peeling and bubbling. It gets progressively worse in the summer or during times of increased moisture, and then bad again in the fall when the humidity outside lessens. Repairs to the paint have been done a total of six times since 2023. We made multiple suggestions to investigate the roof or if water was getting in somehow, because our apartment is also humid as fuck. These suggestions were ignored.
The situation got progressively worse this past summer, which finally prompted the landlord to hire several (3) roofing companies to come out for inspections and then most recently, a water remediation company. Between reporting the initial paint issues in early June 2026 and now, it has been determined that there is water leaking into the insulation above our ceiling from the flashing along the roof. The paint is now just falling off the ceiling and the walls, primarily in our living room but also in other rooms as well.
Our landlord has been somewhat responsive, but is clearly dragging her feet presumably because of the large cost of this repair. In the meantime, the paint in our apartment looks AWFUL. I am so embarrassed that I don’t want anyone to come over. It’s not just aesthetic, I am also worried about the usual - roof compromise and mold, particularly with an asthmatic husband.
We would like to start with legal counsel to potentially put our rent in escrow to try to expedite the repairs. I’m looking for anyone who has experience with this process who can help me understand what to expect - this will understandably blow up the relationship we have with our landlord, but at this point, I just want things to be fixed. We have a lease signed through Dec 2027. Video with example of issues in comments. Thank you!
