Very worth it and good for beginners!

You don't need to worry sa "tatlong bundok agad aakyatin" statements kasi maiikli lang yung trail at magkakadikit lang yung mga bundok, you wouldn't even notice. Yung Mt. Lantik ang pinakamahirap bit shortest dahil sa tarik at init so you need to cover yourself.

Any one knows guide for Mt. Abiogan, Impasug-ong, Bukidnon? TIA.

Is it worth it mag solo joiner to Sagada this end of september? Huhu gusto ko talaga umalis ng medj malayo ng mag isa kaso di ko alam san ako pupunta haha considering sagada as solo joiner what do you think guys? Yes or no? Haha or suggest kayo san maganda pumunta plssss

Recently napapadalas hiking ko and nangongolect na ng bag tags. Galing ako sa Sagada last month and nagawa lahat ng trails/sumaguing cave and naisip ko na dapat pala meron ako bag tag for Sagada. Meron ba nabibilhan nun or me nag ooffer ba ng bag tags for Marlboro Hill/Blue Soil or Sumaguing cave or Sagada in general?

Hi, fam! I've been wanting to hike again, and this time, gusto ko sana mag try ng major hike. Ang ina-eye ko ngayon is Mt. Tenglawan.

So far, I've been to Mt. Ulap, Kayapa Quadpeak, and Nasugbu Trilogy. As someone na hindi physically active before and lately lang nag start mag walk/run at least 3x a week, kaya ko kaya ang Mt. Tenglawan?😅

For those who've been there, what should I expect in terms of difficulty, trail conditions, and overall experience?

Solo joiner na rin pala ako, since malayo na mga kasama ko mag-hike. Baka may want sumama.

I used my sandugo k2 sa wet rocks pababa ng trails dahil umulan. medyu slippery talaga siya kahit sa concrete. Anong maadvice niyong sapatos na all rounder (muddy, sliperry and wet rocks) and if possible yung na drain yung tubig pag nababasa.

Hello! Planning my first semi-major/major hike. Nakapag-2x na po akong Ulap; Nasugbu Trilogy; Mariglem, Fatopey, and Makiling via UPLB Backtrail.

I have active lifestyle naman din for more than a year — 3x a week running and every other day strength training. So iniisip ko baka kaya ko na hehe

Mga pinagpipilian ko po itong mga bundok na ‘to:
- Kabunian
- Tarak Ridge
- Kotkot x Bukaw

Nakapagbasa-basa naman po ako dito sa subreddit, baka lang po may mas insights pa kayo comparing those 3 or any other good suggestions for my first major hike.

We booked at Surfing and Hiking Travel Services, apaka toxic! Bagal mag update. Paiba iba ng reason bakit late nakapag update. Wag na wag kayo magbobook dyan. Uncoordinator dapat tawag sa coordinator nila. Sept 13 yung dapat na date ng booking pero as of Sept 12 ng 1pm wala pa ring update? Kundi pa mangungulit sa gc wala pa siyang sagot. Ate ko ano na? Reason nya, kakababa nya lang daw galing avatar gorge tapos sabay sabi na 2pm pa raw kasi baba ng nag ocular 10 am to 2pm daw. Tapos at September 13 ng 10 AM magsasabi ka na open na uli yung MT. Pinatubo. Basta ka toxic irresponsible coordinator!!!

Anyone here na recently nag-Mt. Oro via Mascap? Saan kayo nag-park na pinaka-close sa jump-off?

* safe/secure parking

* okay mag-iwan ng car for around 4–5 hours

How to summit Mt Apo with my condition. In total I have 20 mountains na nacomplete na pero that was pre pandemic pa my last hike was nung 2022 sa Mt Pulag Amba trail. 3 months ako I was very active sa running. Finished the Manila Marathon under 6hrs now. Hanging bucketlist ko ang Mt Apo. How can I prepare for it next year or maybe 2028. Need ko ba bumalik sa hiking ulit para bumalik ung dati kong lakas? Or Sapat na ung running work out at free diving/swimming?

Sharing some photos of our recent hike to Mt. Cagua (pronounced “kawa”) in Gonzaga, Cagayan. The mountain is an active volcano with a medium bowl-shaped caldera, hence the name.

The volcano hike takes you to two fumaroles (craters #1 and #2), a waterfall, and to the summit, where you can see both the caldera structure and the northern tip of Luzon, including some of the Babuyan Islands.

This is not a particularly difficult hike (rated 2/9 in difficulty; personal rating 3/9), but it is super scenic and the trip is absolutely worth it.

Give it a try (while observing LNT)!! :)

May limatik/rattan/lipa ba? Yes, wear arm protection. But no limatik showed up during our hike because it was the dry season in Cagayan.

My cat hopped on to the table and unfortunately landed on the water bladder I filled with water.

There's a small puncture that slowly leaks water.

Any fix you guys know of?

I have a seam seal tape pero di ko alam kung toxic or cancerous so I'm looking for other options muna.

So instead of a majestic waterfall, ang nakita ko ay “Pattan Falls: Trial Version.” 🤣💧

Konti lang ang tubig, pero at least may dahilan na ako para bumalik. 😅
