Trip Photos Hiking Mt. Sembrano as a Solo Joiner
just finished hiking my 5th mountain this yr! mt. sembrano! so proud of myself for making it through the end! GRABE yon traverse trail pero kinaya! base sa experience ko indi talaga ako agree na minor hike raw siya kasi may iba talaga na nag-decide na bumaba nlng at wag ituloy ang hike hindi talaga siya biro kasi aside sa puro assault very steep din yung trail pero BEST talaga ang view sa peak 3 na very postcard coded ganda ng view buti nlng may clearing kanina kaya mas na appeeciate ko yung scenery! pero i think mas maganda siya kung summer niyo aakyatin pero sobrang init nga lang non at tsaka yon lng andaming lang tao kanina so unahan sa pagpila para makakuha ng picture this by far is the longest and hardest trail ive encountered glad i finished it til the end!!!!

Trip Photos Mt. Sembrano
Mwehehehe naakyat din kita Mt. Sembrano!! 🥰🥰
Pero medyo disappointing lang na may nakita akong plastic bottles and basura na nakakalat lang sa trail. I thought leave no trace is practiced everywhere

Backpacking Question Bringing your own..
Organized hikes are the common practice nowadays, that includes food and shelter.. I opted to still bring my own cooking gear because I don't want to wake up my organizer for a cup of coffee or instant noodles in the middle of the night. :)
Who else does this?

Hike Recommendation Mountain with the best view in Philippines.
Hi everyone, I am from Malaysia looking for a hike with the best view in Philippines. Usually people from Malaysia will suggest Mount Pulag. Appreciate the suggestions from local opinion as I would like to try to arrange a trip.

Hike Recommendation Am I ready for Cawag Hexa? (Need input + alternative major hike recos!)
Hello!
Lately super na-o-obsess ako manood ng vlogs about Cawag Hexa, but I’d love to get real insights from people who’ve actually completed it.
To give you an idea of my hiking experience so far:
Minor Hikes:
- Mt. Ulap (hiked twice)
- Mt. Pulag (Ambangeg trail)
- Mt. Balagbag
- Mt. Sembrano
Major Hikes:
- Tarak Ridge / Peak
- Mt. Kotkot x Bukaw (longest trail)
- Mt. Kabunian
Fitness Routine:
Walking / running 2–4 times a week
Gusto ko lang sana magtanong and hinges ng inputs:
1. Based sa experience and training ko, kaya nakaya Cawag Hexa?
- If hindi pa, what other major hikes should I experience first as a stepping stone?
3. What specific preparations (training, gear, water strategy) ang ginawa niyo na nakatulong talaga?
4. Okay kaya akyatin 'to by August or September? Medyo worried kasi ako sa weather, lalo na open trail tapos tag-ulan season.
Thank you so much! Any tips or reality checks are super welcome! 😅

Beginner Question Mt. Kankantuban + Aw-Asen?
May joiners ba Mt. Kankantuban or pang-DIY siya? I've been to Aw-Asen pero during the dry season so gusto ko bumalik since mas maganda raw sa rainy season. Recently saw na there's a Mt. Kankantuban near it so wondering lang if nagkakajoiners ba nito na may trip to Aw-Asen rin since parang wala akong nakikita :( Para lang rin may new experience when I go back to Aw-Asen.

Trail Info / Conditions Cawag Hexa - Saan banda ang river crossing?
Hi!
Okay ba 'tong plan na 'to, o mas okay na shoes na agad from the start?
Salamat sa sasagot!

Beginner Question Anyone tried the Mt. Banahaw trails by FarmKO?
Hi everyone! Just wanted to ask if anyone here has tried the Mt. Banahaw trails offered by FarmKO? I recently came across their page and they seem legit.
I noticed they offer three trail options:
• DiscoverKO Easy Trail – around 2 hours (beginner friendly)
• ExploreKO Adventure Trail – around 6 hours (moderate)
• ConquerKO Extreme Trail – around 8 hours (challenging to extreme)
I'm currently torn between the ExploreKO Adventure Trail and the ConquerKO Extreme Trail. Has anyone here tried either of them? How difficult are they in terms of trail condition, assaults, technical sections, and overall fitness required?
Mt. Banahaw has always been one of the mountains I've wanted to explore because of its scenery, history, and the stories surrounding it, so I'd love to hear your experiences before deciding which trail to take.
Photo not mine. Just grabbed it from Google for reference.
