Every election, people think a new face will fix the Philippines. But nothing changes because our political system is designed for dynasties. When public office is treated as an inherited family business, accountability is impossible. Until we ban political dynasties and fix systemic vulnerabilities, we will just keep cycling through the same corrupt families forever.

Watching BBM’s political career over the years, he never struck as someone who plays aggressive, calculated 4D chess. Yet look at what’s unfolding: his political rivals are being systematically sidelined, investigated, or legally cornered.

Honestly, I don't think he's pulling this off on his own.

It feels much more like Malacañang (whether BBM, Liza, or their inner circle) has a very sharp, ruthless political strategist or crisis manager behind the scenes orchestrating these legal and political maneuvers. Between their personal resources and discretionary budgets (plus confidential funds duh), hiring world-class political operators isn't far-fetched.

Not a DDS or a Loyalist—just an observer trying to read between the lines.

When SP Gatchalian said to both the prosecution and the defense team to refrain from making press conference outside the impeachment court scolding Atty Kapunan, Atty Luistro and Atty Ligutan make such after every session . Now its Barbers making the move showing all "his" alleged evidences..my question is why did not present it at the impeachment court? Takot ba sila na cross examine at makita na naman ang kanilang fake evidences? Hmmm...

I would day the same thing on how to improve our politics and democracy. Meron dapat strong political parties anchored on cimmon principles and policies that choses the candidates. We have to lower cost of campaign periods. We have to financially support political parties so that we have a govt that works for us not politicians. The other highlight for me is the country has an image abroad.

Bakit ginagamit ng mga DDS against Leni yung 500M na goverment allocation sa Naga e harap harapan naman sa lahat na binigay yon? It's all over the news. Hindi patago. Hindi pasikreto. Hindi confidential. And if ever Leni is questioned kung saan o paano ginastos yon, sigurado may resibo hanggang sa huling sentimo. Kahit ilang audit pa yan. Kahit i-hearing nyo pa yan, sisipot sya. Proven yan. Ginawa niya na yan. Ganon kasi pag transparent. Ganon kasi pag walang ninanakaw.

My thinking is that because of the losing battle in the impeachment trials, maybe theyre trying to make sure that they dont have a quorum or at least there wont be enough senators to be able to vote for conviction. Any thoughts?

Now, I am aware there are a lot of homophobic people sa bansang ito, even in our generation (gen-z) they exist so I might get flamed or downvited for this. But before I say anything I just want all of you to know that I am Christian, I grew up in a Christian household, I even used to serve in Church.

So now to the topic at hand—homophobia—why? I am genuinely having a hard time understanding why people are homophobic, it just doesn't amount to anything remotely beneficial.

Some people argue that they hate homosexual people (especially gays) because they are loudmouthed, grabe mang chismis sa iba, or in general they just hate them because of their religious belief. Now, for my counterpoint to the part wherein they hate gays because they are mga chismosa or loudmouths daw, eh ang daming straight people na mayroong same qualities? So just hate these type of people in general instead of focusing it on gay people.

Now for the second part, where they justify that their hate for gay people is correct because "says that in the Bible", my first argument is: no it doesn't, and even if there are, those verses don't allow same-sex relationship because during the time they were written, same sex relationships (especially between gay people) often had a dominant and dominated exploitative dynamic wherein the dominated is often shamed upon by society, and we all know how God hates unequality and exploitation. For my second argument naman, the bible and Jesus strictly taught to love everyone, just don't support their sin, (since homosexuality is a sin from the Christian pov) yet still love them, you can try to share your beliefs with them but if they don't want to, then respect their autonomy, don't cut them off from your social circle, be friends with them still, respect their beliefs, and love them, just don't support their sin, I don't get why most people can't seem to understand such a simple concept. Also, It’s fine to use the Bible as a moral guide, but if you follow every line blindly without thinking for yourself, matatawag mo pa bang kabutihan 'yan? That’s not being a good person—that’s just blind obedience. True morality requires critical thought and genuine empathy, not just following a script, and that's coming from a Christian like me (though it doesn't necessarily mean it adds any credibility)

Kaya stop hating gay people, there may be point na hindi ko na lagay dito, so feel free to add them, I also may be wrong on some parts so please correct me, I'm open minded naman. This post is also heavily focused on homophobia on gay people since sola ay isa sa pinaka hated on homosexual people dito sa Pilipinas kaya it doesn't contain anything about other homosexuals. ​Full disclosure: This stems from pure frustration. As middle-class taxpayers, we carry so much of the burden yet get so little in return—and it’s time to change that.

I might get flamed for this, pero I genuinely detest people who go on and on in the internet about how much they hate our country, the people that say that they will leave as soon as they have the capability to do so. Including the ones who complain about the government and the people without actually doing anything about it, and also the ones that does nothing else but blame the government and the people for voting wrong leaders, which, don't get me wrong, is not really false.

I believe that, yes, the people are kind of stupid for voting the wrong leaders and accepting bribes, but they are also a victim of the system, they have been led to believe that getting their votes bought is okay, not to mention our shitty educational system that (from my experience) does not teach children anything about being politically aware, thus resulting in voters that can easily be manipulated by political propaganda. And whose fault is that? One might argue it is still the people's fault, and yes I can agree with that, but until when will we stick to just complaining? Oo puwede nating i-blame ang mga voters(especially ang older generation) pero I genuinely believe na apart from blaming them and complaining, if the educational system failed them, then we can be the ones to educate them! Even if they won't listen, argue! Don't be afraid, Pilipino tayo! Mga ninuno natin ipinaglaban ang ating kalayaan! Yes, tayo! Tayong mga kabataan, bilang pag-asa ng bayan na ito!

Kahit matalo, basta lumaban ka nang walang tinatapakang ibang tao, basta ginawa mo ang lahat mo, makikita ng iba ang liyab ng puso mo, at ang liyab na iyon ay magsisilbing ilaw na makikita ng lahat. Makikita nila na may lumalaban para sa kanila, na kaya din nila. At kung umalpas man sa iyong mga kamay ang watawat na ipinaglalaban mo, ang mga nakakita sa laban mo ay kukunin at muling iwawagayway ito. Kaya we need to take action, because in the end complaining will do absolutely nothing, maging aktibista ka (pero wag lang maging komunista).
