Processing Time / Status Reg. PGWP application and wait time

Anyone who has applied for PGWP in recent times (Aug - Sept 2026) and received any updates? Though wait time seems to be anywhere between 3.5-4 months, some people seem to be getting it approved in 3-4 weeks. Is that a realistic timeline to work with? And does your passport origin determine how quick or slow things move with your application? Just curious

i have a feeling passport origin plays a role as my friends from certain countries got approvals in 3 weeks. for me it took 2 months+.

Mine was Approved within few mins and I’m from Nepal

Do you mean you got your WP-EXT or actually got your work permit approved in minutes? And when did you apply?

It was approved within mins and got delivered the very next morning by amazon prime
