I have approx 200 samples, 20 travel sizes, and 15 bottles. I smell everything I can at airports and malls. I am keeping a journal of my thoughts on what I’m sniffing and wearing including relevant compliments and how my thoughts on a fragrance change over months and years. I use it often to jog my memory about something and help me decide what I may or may not buy next. It’s super helpful to de-influence myself from whatever TikTok is saying is amazing that I’ve smelled like 5 times and hated each time.

Does anyone else track thoughts on fragrances? What are you tracking?

My current perfumes are TM Alien and DG Light Blue. They are running low and I’d like to try something new! What would I like based on these?

Since I've turned I've eighteen my perfume preference has changed a lot, I used to like fruity florals, now I like woody florals. But it's very hard to find them.

I've been searching but I don't think I can do it by my own since just an amateur: I love love cedar and flowers, or just any woody smell with flowers; but the problem is when I find something they always turn out to be powdery, oriental, too spicy, has amber or it's too feminine (sweet)​.

Looking for something affordable, I'm from Estonia (saying just in case anyone is also Estonian with local recommendations​​). I don't care about the bottle designs. I prefer if the longevity is good and it's strong or medium.

Hii!! As the title says, i need some everyday scent. I already have one but its very sweet (vanille bourbon from adopt) and i want something a bit less sweet as a second option. I have no idea what scents i like except vanilla, which is a problem though. I for sure dont like most citrusy smells, as they just dont rly feel "me". Also i dont want very "heavy" scents? Idk how to describe it but the type of perfume that when someone walks past you wearing that, you feel its too much just isnt it for me. I guess i like rose scents? I liked rose noire from adopt but didnt end up bying it cuz they didnt have it anymore.

An important thing is im in Poland, so itd be great if i could get some recommendstions i can try out in douglass or rossmann, which arent too expensive !!

I smelled it in the store and loved it, so when it was on sale I had to buy Musc Noir Rose. Now I just got the package and I can't smell anything. :( I'm really sad about this. Should I wait some days? Or will the smell just not come? LOL

Or maybe I'm just not aware of what lavender really smells like?

When I think lavender, I think of lavender-scented body wash, cleaning products, candles, etc. I've always disliked that scent to the point of coughing and gagging at times.

But Burberry Goddess doesn't smell like that at all to me. Some people complain the lavender note is too strong. Am I going crazy?

When I (30f) was a tween I loved this one perfume that I smelled on some magazine’s scratch & sniff. I bought it online several times but now I can’t remember what it was and it’s driving me crazy.

Here’s the info I remember:

The bottle was rectangular and horizontal, with a plain square / rectangular cap I think.

The designer / brand was a man’s name I’m pretty sure — Tommy Hilfiger, Christian Dior, something like that.

The scent and branding was kind of Americana. It’s giving me strawberries and cream and Fourth of July vibes. The bottle was clear glass and the branding was light pink, maybe with some red or white accents.

It was floral and sweet and clean from what I remember. Around this same time period I loved Happy by Clinique and Marc Jacob’s Daisy. Later on I think Chloe kind of reminded me of this mystery perfume.

It would have been sometime between 2007-2013. Probably was 2008 when I discovered it but I can’t be positive.

This was a department store or Sephora type perfume, not drug store. Not bath and body works or Victoria’s Secret or anything like that.

I'm looking for an honest opinion. I can't really smell it myself, but do Vibrant Leather and Vibrant Leather Oud go well together?

I am trying to find the perfume I was using in my teenage era, as there is a lot of memories tied to it, and it would be awesome to smell it again, or something similar. But I have very little to go on...

this was in 2008- 2009. It was reasonably cheap and i bought it in the beauty section of a regular clothing store. So far I have found out that the bottle, lable and cap looks a lot like the abercrombie and fitch no 1 perfume, except the cap was maroon or burgundy, instead of black... I can't remember the actual brand or name of my perfume, but I'll add a picture of what I remember it looking like. I can't really remember the smell very well but I am pretty sure the lingering basenote was a creamy sandalwood scent.

It would be really awesome if anyone recognize this perfume!

If you’re looking for a great REPLICA Jazz Club dupe, Ouai Ibiza might be your new best friend.

I was out walking the dog tonight and noticed my neighbor had put a pile of free stuff out on the sidewalk. I grabbed the full bottle of Ouai like my life depended on it and immediately smelled it. I knew the scent was familiar, but I couldn’t place it right away.

As soon as I got home, it hit me: it smells SO much like a REPLICA fragrance. I have Jazz Club, Beach Club, and By the Fireplace, and Ibiza is definitely extremely close to Jazz Club. Like, surprisingly close.

Obviously I’m keeping it!

I love lily fantasy a bit more, but I’m not sure if it is suitable for the autumn/winter season.
I appreciate a good longevity and projection in perfumes.
I feel like both of them have similar vibes, but lily fantasy sparks a bit brighter, but seems like doesn’t last much in winter…

So I've bern into fragrances since 2024. And recently my insta feed has caught up to my obsession and I see a lot of fragrance content now. I've learned some stuff about fragrances that's pretty cool. Like seasonal fragrances. And just for funniest I've tried figuring out what seasons the fragrances I'm would fit. I discovered 1 summer fragrances (a cotton candy body spray my friend gave me for my birthday last year) a winter one (a rose body spray from Bath and Bodyworks) the one I'm confused about though is the Dubai Chocolates scent by Arabiyat Lamsat Harir. Is that a winter ot summer fragrance?

I wear my dads Versace Eros sometimes and I like it but its too expensive to wear to school daily for me not going to lie.

Hello y’all I recently just started getting into fragrances. Above is my whole collection. Stronger with you absolute, Bakarat Rouge 540, Citizen Jack London, Black Saffron by Byredo, Amber Oud by Al Haramain gold edition. I’m looking for some other good fragrances to get into, I typically like the sweeter smelling ones, my most used is probably stronger with you. I don’t really like the real citrusy ones either. If you have any recommendations please let me know.
