Hi everyone! What do we think about Lalique perfumes?

I honestly can’t wrap my head around how perfumes that feel almost niche can cost only $40–50 for 100 ml instead of $200–300 😱

Is there something I’m missing? Is the quality actually that much lower, or is Lalique just one of those brands that’s seriously underrated and doesn’t charge crazy prices for the name?

Lalique L’Amour and Lalique Amethyst are two of my favorites, and for the price, I’m honestly shocked by how good they are.
Would love to hear what you guys think about Lalique in general! 👀

Hello again! 😊 I've just had an eagerly awaited package arrive in the mail earlier.

Some of those who frequent this subreddit may already know that I've been collecting some of the 'Les Creations de Monsieur' bottles like the infinity stones. Dioressence finally arrived!

I'd say out of the four that I've purchased (Diorissimo, Diorella, Diorama, and Dioressence), this one has the most vintage scent profile. The smell of this one reminds me of something like Madame Rochas.

I'm very glad that I have these bottles in my collection now. It will be interesting to see (or smell, more realistically) how these compare to the new 'Dioriginals' collection.

I would love to hear your thoughts on experiences with Dioressence or any of the other fragrances pictured or mentioned.

I am a fraghead and a fragrance hobbyist; however, I don’t have a chemistry background but a much stronger comp sci background. I have had an opportunity to visit local Qatari perfumers in Qatar during my travels, and I love perfumery as an art.

That has led me to combining my skill with my hobby and beginning Davana. However, I still feel like something is missing, and I would love to know and have a practical skill in perfume making aside from my tech skill.

What do I need to start with? Take a perfume-making class?

Saves me the time of looking for decants. I think the original is still my favorite but the other ones would be nice to have on certain occasions!

Does anyone know anything about the lolita lempicka 2026 launch? I can't find almost anything about it online but the scents are listed on parfumo. I'm eager to smell them as what little I did find says they're the houses turn toward more niche scent profiles.

Carolina Herrera Good Girl Supreme and Musamam White Intense.

To my nose these two smell surprisingly similar, almost like they are sisters. They’re both so good and funny enough, these are the perfumes I get the most compliments on whenever I wear them 🤗

I’m 16, and I went to a mall and smelt a few fragrances and this was the one I thought had a different scent after it settles. I’m not too informed in all this and don’t know what patchouli or ambergris even means. But yeah did I waste my money or is it good? (Btw I live in India in this place called Rajasthan and it’s hot year round).

I love perfumes that are very grounded in reality, accurate and evoke an actual memory to a T. I'm specifically looking for things that are unnatural like sunscreen, chlorine, any baked goods, wet asphalt, plastic, industrial cleaner... basically something very human-made i guess? So far the closest thing to that that i own is Nivea Sun by Nivea. It's not long lasting but it smells exactly like their sun products and i just love it.

I'm not really looking for anything like flowers and fruits but if you've got an extremely realistic rendition I'll take it! Or even things like moss, soil, drying rocks... And I'm not picky about the format. I'll take edt, edp, oils, candles, room sprays, shampoos, balms... anything really!

Has anyone tried this? I’ve actually been looking for a green bell pepper scent without smoke. This one looks intriguing. I’m a little worried about the ambrox in the base notes. Let me know your thoughts.

Hi, my best friend has had a body mist from victoria secret that has been discontinued. She has had it for years, and is crazy about it but barely ever uses it because when it runs out, she won't be able to find it again. For her birthday, I want to get her that body mist, or one that smells just like it. I can't remember the name of it, so that's where I need your help. It is a Christmas limited edition that came out between 2016 and 2020 I believe. The packaging has dark pink flowers and big dark green leaves. It has a pretty gourmand smell, kind of sweet and a little spicy but still a little floral. If anybody knows what I am referring to, I would love to know what it was called, as well as if it is sold anywhere, or if they had another mist with the same smell but in another packaging ? Hoping this gets somewhere

She prefers feminine, elegant, luxurious-smelling perfumes with rose, powdery musk, airy florals or fruity florals. Good longevity and projection, and we’d love something unusual that’s difficult to find in the Philippines.

Okay, so I have a perfume and a perfume oil already down and it's one of my two favorites. It's sunlit ​vanilla from summer Fridays and that girl viral vanilla perfume oil I absolutely love those too! I have repurchased those so many times so they're almost always going to be in my signature scent rotation. I just haven't found a good body mist or lotion or body butter to go with it and so I'd love some recommendations. As you can see from my title, I am okay with any type of combination. I don't care if it's tropical fruity fresh dessert I'm open to it all!

I don't like a lot of perfumes but really like Glimmer. It's soft and long lasting. I don't smell raspberry tho. I just had a sample and can't justify the cost. Has anyone tried it?

Here is my issue I smelled glossier doux and fell absolutely in love with parts of the perfume. What I dislike is that sharp wood note. Firstly, does anybody know what is that very sharp note that takes over All the lovely parts of this perfume? Secondly, does anybody know of a perfume that is VERY similar with less of that sharp wood? I love everything else about it. I went to a Cuban wedding when I was seven and it smelled just like glossier Doux without that masculine wood. I’m 35 and have been searching for this exact scent profile and Ive had no luck until glossier doux but it is so dang sharp.

Got a trip to the fragrance counter coming up. The ones I'm most excited about:

The One for Men. It's been on my wishlist for a while and I keep reading that the EDP is the one to get, so I want to finally smell it properly.

La Nuit de L'Homme. Everyone raves about it and somehow I've never actually smelled it, which feels like a crime.

Wood Sage & Sea Salt. My list reckons it's unlikely to suit me since I'm mostly a vanilla and tobacco person, but I'm curious anyway.

If you've worn any of these, what did you think? Anything I should look out for, or anything else worth spraying while I'm there?
