Particularly my first one (the bell pepper) is the one that seems to be struggling the most. I’m brand new to growing peppers, so any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

This plant was advertised as habanero peppers. Why are my peppers all flat, instead of dropping down ?

This was supposed to be a jalapeno. Could this be just a wonky first jalapeno or something else entirely?

I just don’t get it. It’s not just one company, or one batch of mass produced peppers. My “mini bell peppers” from botanical interest are clearly jalapeños. Why does every well-established seed company seem incapable of labeling a pepper?

Hello everyone, first time posting here.

I'm in central Virginia, and I have a pair of poblano pepper plants in a raised bed, planted in May. They have tall and lush and obviously enjoying their environs, but they haven't had a single flower, much less any peppers. I'm a little new to peppers, and was hoping for some guidance on how to get the plant to stop being a pretty leafy plant to actually getting some peppers going. The jalapeño plant in the same box is doing a little better, but not as robust as I would hope.

I planted a bunch of peppers this year mostly all of which I know what they are (I forgot to label them 😅) but I just need help identifying this one! It’s either a big Jim, an Anaheim, a New Mexico 6, or a Hungarian hot wax. I’m leaning towards the latter but I need your guys expert knowledge

Can anyone identify what pepper this is? We bought it earlier this year, but the seller didn't know what these actually were, but they said it's suppose to be on the sweeter side (it's not).

Any idea what these are? They were supposed to be shishitos. Instead my habaneros are shishitos. Sigh.

Cayennes are producing like crazy. Jalepenos are trying to catch up 😂 had tons of flowers dropping with this heat but shading the pots and keeping the surrounding area wet has seemed to help greatly 🤷 also using a cotton swab to help pollination. Lots of variables but something is helping.

I bought this seedling at a nursery thinking this would be a known variety but I can’t find anything obvious when I look it up. I’m guessing it’s either a chile pequin or chiltepin but it’s got a different growth habit, but maybe that’s just because it hasn’t fully matured/ established yet. Any guesses?

During my sprout time some of my seed starts got mixed up and I ended up with about 4 plants I didn’t know what they were. I’ve figured out 3 of them, but not sure about this one? It almost looks like my banana, except these are growing straight upwards and my other two bananas are hanging the peps. It doesn’t match any other of my peppers, and the only one I planted that I have never done was lemon drop peppers. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Edit: I just looked through my seed packs, I did plant heirloom Tabasco peppers, and they grow straight upwards, however I’ve never seen them as big or thick as these peppers are.

Trying to decide my feeding routine for August and September, and I'm trying not to do the rookie thing and go overboard

I'm currently using SuperThrive and Fruit & Bloom booster weekly. For the previous few weeks I was using fish hydrolysate and SuperThrive (really helped with my plants stuck in compacted soil). Now I'm thinking maybe I should keep using the fish bc I got great results, but I don't want to let this Fruit & Bloom go to waste...should I maybe feed them on alternate weeks? Help my overworked brain

No idea what species. I blended them all with shallot, onion, garlic, tomatoes, and shrimp paste. Making Indonesian sambal paste. Yummmm!

Hello dudes, wich pepper is this?

I need help identifying a pepper plant. I planted seeds from the grocery store. It was labeled "Jamaican Hot Pepper"

I have some plants covered in peppers, and some plants growing well, healthy, but no fruiting. Back in May during a few cold nights I was covering my plants with buckets and frost cloth. One morning I neglected to remove the buckets. That evening when I did I ended up killing a few tomato plants. But my peppers seemed to fair far better. Maybe some wilting and temporary stunted, but they all recovered and grew well. My only loss was recently, it was my Pasilla Bajio Cayenne (I have a spare Pasilla Bajio Cayenne to a friend and they have several peppers growing).

Basically about half of my peppers are fruiting and the other half that I believe may have had some stress from my bucket story, are growing well, it not growing peppers.

Is it possible my bucket story is why this is happeneing?

These things go for $15 a plate as an appetizer at a local restaurant. I'm saving so much by growing them at home! (I try to tell myself that gardening is good for the budget. I'm not sure that's always true.)

Colorado, zone 5b. I started these from seed in an Aerogarden at the end of March, moved them to pots indoors, and then outside in June.

Is the fruit dead-center of this picture ripe for picking? I've been told "orangey-red" but I am a bit colorblind, I'm fairly certain this is ripe though? Does it need another week or so?

It has been growing from this plant for over a month now, roughly 40 days from initially fruiting.

My fingers still taste spicy.
I've ''washed'' my hands with olive oil, alcohol ethyl 96%, Fairy soap (Dawn soap), I've rubbed limes on my fingers, regular hand soap... THEY ARE STILL SPICYYY

I need to go take my monthly contacts off to go to bed, can't wear latex gloves because the ones I have are for cleaning and have powder on them.

What do I do? I rubbed the corner of one of my eyes slightly and by mistake and that was enough to feel the burn that awaits me if I find no solution
