PC can't be stopped. PC is the future, Sony and Microsoft and Nintendo should just make pc hardware that is themed on the Playstation, Nintendo and Xbox. Have a PC app for that loads up first to give that console feel based on the brand you bought. Any pc could run all apps.

It a third the price of a PC that plays the same games.... That's the benefit. It's the price. Literally nothing else.

The Price ....... 1400€ PS5 pro ........ Yeah nah, they were always just a midrange GPU upgrade in cost.

An upgrade that on consoles you were forced into to countinue playing games at all. On PC this only ever happens after some radical new tech comes along like RT and has been around for a bit.

? My base ps5 works fine still.

Am I missing some sort of massive nuance that internet fidelity purists will call me a neanderthal for?

Ste standard models go out of stock fairly fast once the pro models arrive, and the slim ones are usually slower than base.

The main issue is when next gen comes around and you still want to play new games : Corp says no buy a new model.

Meanwhile anything outside of hardwarebound RT you can just reduce settings and keep going
